Personally I was scared that the writers would just create 1000s of plotholes but im really really really impressed with the overall way it was delivered. Hiro and Charlie were perfect and spot on. Even the actions and reactions to what was said. All in all it was a perfect episode...except for the sad ending which really pissed me off.

Yeah it was good one problem if Sylar knows how things work why didn't he know what Hiro's power was?

It was a good episode personally i think all bar 1 or 2 of the episodes have been top notch this season, next week looks very interesting too.

OMFG Charlie standed in time. Would never have seen that coming! Sooo well done. Envisioning a From Hellesque ending for Hiro, where she's running down the mountain side all pretty n plaited n shiny new.

I've always wondered when we would see the Hiro painting with him and his sword aimed at the T-rex...now I think I get where it might come from... Charlie...he goes to get her and it happens to be in the dino age... yea?

Seriously, that already happened in Season 1. It was a fake dinosaur in a museum.

Definitley an amazing episode, we finally get to see what kind of man Samuel really is.

My assumption was that Sylar just never got to see it as Hiro was using it (considering it took almost no time at all), he only saw the effects.

The typical assumption would be that Hiro was teleporting but Sylar had enough insight to know that that wasn't what Hiro was doing so he him asked about it.

Anyway, not only am I going nuts over this episode because of the Quantum Leap Reference (I had been thinking about that ever since Hiro lost his control over his powers) but especially for the more obscure Chrono Trigger reference, (Incredibly apt too!). The latter alone pushed Masi Oka up ten levels in my book, though it makes perfect sense for his character.

Obviously it's a very different situation but considering Square Enix's attitude to fan projects of the Chrono series I almost wonder how they'd feel about that reference? Granted, I am comparing apples to oranges.

What time travel related stuff will they reference next? Primer? I'm surprised at how much of the Geek in Hiro's character has been lost/hidden in his development in the show. To be honest I kind of miss it, he's a lot less funny, though I guess it's more from the loss of his naivety than anything else.

Do you ever think we'll see Charlie again? Because it would really suck if she was just left like that. It was already done with Caitlin. It shouldn't happen again. I was really sad

I dont think we do, not yet. I think the point is that we will not be able to see what kind of man he is exactly until the very end of the season and his image will keep changing episode to episode. He is the type of person that will do anything for his "family" it is just not clear to what end. If it is simply to keep the family growing or maybe he has some end game, since he is consistently trying to gain at least one of every type of ability. And I am still having a hard time pinpointing exactly what the tattoo girl is capable of and if it is his ink affecting her or her affecting any agent under her skin.

Oh man, Charlie spin-off in Renaissance Italy!! She is just so squeeeeee cute!

I liked Hiro's reaction when Sylar asked him to step aside at the start of the episode. Also, it'll be great if towards the end of Heroes, Hiro and Charlie get back together. Or, at least, if say Hiro dies before Heroes ends, then let him spend his last moments with her. (Better if both don't happen, but instead, Heroes continues forever and then Hiro steps out of the storyline.. for a while. ENOUGH OF CHARACTERS DYING. A great way of writing Hiro and Charlie out for a time would be... a Honeymoon through time. )

And I think the reason Hiro did not want Sylar to do any operations on him was because.. he didn't want to risk Sylar having a telekinetic hold on his brain.

Oh, and isn't Charlie's problem just a blood clot in the brain? Which I think can be removed by minimally invasive telekinetic stuff, whereas well, removing a tumor will be much more complex... and probably lots more invasive.

I agree. It was one of my favourites. Hiro & Charlie <3 But I'm mad about the ending. It reminded me very much of the first season, it was like re living the first season! Amazing. Charlie rocks And poor, poor Hiro. It made me cry ;(.

And yeah! He should so do that. He is blessed with his ability after all! SO what's to say he can't mess up a few time lines here and there?!

Good point but if he went back to the past before Arnold takes her, Arnold would still be alive then, therefore he could... find Hiro? It's weak...
