Hey peeps,
with the advent of internet, i was wondering if there is anything we can do. I know we all want our heroes to keep going. And heroes probably has one of the biggest and most solid fan base in the world, i would think. Wouldn't you guys agree??? So whats stopping us. Whats stopping the world from getting together and pushing something, show our support. We all have this wonderful tool called the internet to be able to connect together. I was wondering why cant we push something to the writers of heroes, let them know we are there, and we are missing out too, not just the studios. Who cares about the studio's cause all they care about is the profits. I was wondering something why cant we do something like raise money and either donate to the writers of heroes to keep going, like us people are buying the series or donate it to the fund for the less fortunate writers, who are feeling the worse from the strike. But the purpose of this our stance, is to keep our beloved series and not be affect by this. Look!!! George clooney donated $25,000. I cant see why all the heroes fan web sites get together and raise money too, if wikipedia can get donations, why cant we get a dollar or too from everyone for our cause. a united approached make it easy to raise a few million, maybe 20, how many people are there in the world who watched it, talk about it, and surf it on the net. It wouldnt be hard to get the msg across and who knows it may end up in the media. It could be something like the world uniting for a cause, maybe something of a first, showing how pwerful the net can be. And i believe that heroes is only big because of the net.

So what do u think guys, can we do something.

P.s. As impossible as it may seem, i would like to think of it as we are buying the script/ paying the script writers, not the studio's.

If this cant be done, maybe we get a parodie series goin to keep us amused in the mean time. But lets see what can be done first

Here's a group dedicated to doing something.

Had a brief look not sure, think these guys are getting people behind the strike, which is fair enough. But this is more about us people here setting up some sort of project, in the mean time of the strike, to keep us entertained. And there is a lot. I had an idea for a parodie series based in england. I am sure we could come up with some idea's and support. or like i said, raise some money and buy our way in heheheheheh power to the people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

r u serious? if that would work out it would be the end of television!! if the studios would realize that fans are paying the script writes then they wouldn't pay them.. and always let us fans pay...

and starting a parodie series in the mean time!? you know.. starting to write a series(and having a concept of how the/a story would evolve through the episodes/season) , casting actors and producing the whole thing would take about 2 months at least..but the thing is still all WGA (Writes Guild of America)members(which means ALL american writers!!) aren't allowed to work during that time.. what you could do is ask foreign writes(e.g. canadian) .. but the best would be if you just start watching another tv series.. old stuff like friends, dawsons creek or something else which you haven't seen by now..
