My power was one of the most poweful on the show because they turned to me to kind of wipe Sylar out and do that whole “switch.” Well.. I didn’t even give a second thought that anything would’ve stayed in my head or in my body when I did that process, and I’m haunted by lets say… parts of Sylar that stayed in the transition, that stayed with me.

There's nothing from the link that really hints towards that though. I can sense a great opportunity for irony here, since I get the impression while Sylar is away labouring under the illusion he is Nathan, Sylar's personality and tendencies will come to the surface in Matt, so Matt will be forced to unleash the beast and perform some perverse exorcism to put the traces of Sylar in his system back into Sylar himself.

Think of it this way, what's going to be happening to Sylar as he fights for control over 'Nathan', a similar thing will be happening to Matt. The guy is spreading like some disease, be interesting to see other actors take on Sylar's mannerisms and such, might end up with two Sylar's running around - splitting man from beast, one Sylar and one Gabriel perhaps?
