Greg has given out spoilers and said the Petrelli Brothers are safe. So Peter fans can relax now. Here's the full interview.
Grunberg Says Petrelli Brothers Safe but Major Death is Sad Posted by The ODI on Monday, November 2, 2009 Labels: Greg Grunberg, Interview, Matt, Mohinder, Nathan, Peter, Season 4, Sylar Hey All, Greg Grunberg (Matt) recently did an interview with a radio station confirming that there is a MAJOR death and that this male character has already filmed their final scenes. When the interviewers asked if it is Nathan? Grunberg said it was definitely not Nathan and that the Patrelli boys are safe for now. However, as he continued he said that the death was really sad for him almost giving me the feeling his character Matt was the one to be killed off the show!? Greg has posted several pics via Twitter recently of him looking grim and some fans have felt that perhaps Matt is the one that will be killed. However, at the same time many keep saying that this character filmed their final scenes a few weeks ago. The other only possibilities are Mohinder (who is confirmed for a couple episodes in the next few weeks), Hiro who is going through time with his bucket list, or perhaps Sylar!? Thanks to everyone for the heads up for this interview and I did not post it sooner because I wanted to get the audio for you all to listen and make your own judgments. It is a great interview where he talks also about filming the scenes with Quinto and how Mohinder makes his return. He of course talks about his iphone app Yowza and Band4TV! Glad to hear it. Though I knew it wasn't Peter,it's nice to hear it confirmed. I find it odd that they said,"The Petrelli brothers". Nathan is dead so I'm guessing they mean Nylar.

I'm surprised that no one has mentioned Noah yet. Because that's who I'm guessing it is. And I doubt it'll be Mohinder because he's not a character that "even the most casual viewer will know" or whatever they said in that other interview. :/ Since Peter is safe, it sounds more like Hiro or Noah to me.

It's not right that they didn't tell Adrian about it. He shouldn't have found out in the script. It's not nice.
I'm going to miss Nathan and his interaction with Peter (though there hasn't been much of that this season) but I'll admit his "death" (again) is not that shocking. When reports about a MAJOR death came out, I did think it would be someone else, though, because they said it would be someone we wouldn't expect and let's face it, Nathan dying is quite obvious. It happens every season. Poor guy. R.I.P.
