Claire saving Odessa and walking out of the house all zombified.
HRG having the Hatian shoot him and wipe his memories.
The Flashback of Young!Hiro and his dad with HRG taking custody of Baby!Claire.
Claude scaring the cripes out of HRG in a flashback.

None of the above... For comedy, I liked HRG thinking "Right Hook! Right Hook!" as a way to let Matt know what's coming! biggrin.gif Also, Mr. Bennet thinking in Japanese was funny when Matt tells Ted what he "heard", and Ted asks HRG, "Why are you thinking in Japanese?!?" Duh! So you can't tell what he's thinking! It was also funny when Matt read what Claire was thinking about (her uncle) Peter Petrelli, "He can do what I can do!", and that was also what Matt was thinking! Classic.

Surprising moment- when Mr. Bennet seemed to be surprised himself as he shot Claude. Claude went, and even told HRG that he knew, knowing he was going to be dispatched, and still Mr. Bennet pulled the trigger!

Loved the parallels when HRG went to the bridge with both Claude and Claire.

Seeing Kaito, Thompson, Claude, HRG, young Hiro, and younger Claire on the roof of Deveaux's apartment was also a stunner.

Awkward moment- When Thompson was just standing there while HRG was still in the house with Ted. Not a lotta graceful exit opportunities there...

on review, I think I was fondest of the glasses scene where Claire turns out to be responsible for his 'look'...

There were so many great moments in this episode. The ending was really sad, especially since we finally realize that HRG did have good intentions after all sad.gif and little Hiro...SO CUTE! What a great match they found, he looks exactly like Masi!

But when Claire took that bullet out of her mouth...that was just GRIMY! I loved when Claire walked out all burned! They did a really good job with the make-up and the way she walked out of the house was funny tongue.gif

I didn't think it was expected at all, I didn't think he would give up Claire but I definetly had no idea that he would be shot and have Claire wiped from his memories

That moment when HRG had the Haitian wipe away his memories of Claire on the bridge was so sad! sad.gif

I had tears in my eyes when I was watching that moment. That was probably the first time Heroes made me cry.sad.gif

It was really sad when HRG told Claire to cover her ears. And he was getting shot in the back. And with the music and everything. Such a beautiful Heroes moment. *sniff*

HRG loves me! tongue.gif laugh.gif

That was definetly one of the more powerful moments on the show, especially when Claire flinches and the Haitian trys to hold her back from HRG..really amazing, I didn't cry but it was definetly an emotional scene

Jack Coleman was really good in this episode ( Emmy nod?). That moment when Ted was going all nuclear was also really cool. I loved it when Claire walked out all burned and slowly healed herself.

Hmmm.... Could this be a clue as to how to stop a man from exploding?

I think it very well could be and it may just be a foreshadow of events to occur

Save the cheerleader so that she can save the world, and by saving the cheerleader you saved the world?.. blink.gif
Tim Kring
I think Peter "...Saved the cheerleader..." to save the world from Sylar!

Think about it... If Peter never met Claire he wouldn't be able to heal and
get away from Sylar
in the next episode!

Great writting if this is a true guess!

Quite possibly, it could be that it all depends on Claire

I'm sorry but New York is not the WORLD!

There is a bigger picture here, and they have been hinting at it for awhile ever since the show's debut!

Isn't New York connected to the rest of the world though? So if it is destroyed it would affect the world, at least I would think so

Of course it would EFFECT the world, but People will get over it! Especially since you don't know who/what to trust in out homogeneous society these days!

Well yes eventually people would move on, but the effects of it could last for quite some time
