Does anyone know if she'll play a good role in this season? She is one of my favorite characters in Heroes and i'd hate to "not" really see her in this season. Or i'd hate to see her just get killed.

So she probably stays for a long time. I love her story with mohinder.

I hated Maya in Season 2, but I think Season 3 will be better for her hopefully.

Funny little side note though-

First words out of my friends mouth when we heard her first speak were "Wait, what happened to her accent? timeline wise its been a day at most if even that"

Her accent has definately changed..
But role wise - read somewhere that Maya will be very important this season.
Well hope so anyway !

She was already very important in season 2 cause she were the one to save the world from the virus in exodus by absorbing it all in her out from the whole town of odessa to prevent it from spreading further.

She would had either died because it was too much OR be saved by mohinder afterwards.

However, since the virus plot got cut as also the season 2 due to the writers strike, her and monicas stories couldn't unfold and go further so we get to know both characters more and better.
So the most interesting parts of them wasn't there.

It is stated that she is the one that will "change the world" in this season.

However, I hope it's more than the fact that her strains used by mohinder are giving powers to normal people.

I also hope that she won't get wasted like other characters cause I like her a lot.

Like her outfits / costumes so far - nice sexy scenes so far...still undecided about her character mind

Okay, the whole ripping of clothes off and sweaty oily make-out session was totally awesome. But if they don't get a good story-line, Mohinder better kill her with his microscopes and commit suicide himself.

It would be good if she played a better role in the new series than just being the origin of the destruction of
the world............although that does seem pretty important.

and i would hope that her "major role" isnt her just temporarily killing everyone. hopefully something
alot more complicated

Not that I agree with the overused phrase of "Bangable" (Get some tact people ) but yes she is Fine.

I think Maya is already playing a huge part in the new Volume if they continue the giving the powers to anyone gimmick. I agree overall Maya this season is looking uber hot so far.
