Full Version: So it seems that the "god send" sign / symbol is retired?
Got Heroes > Heroes: Episode Discussion > Volume Three: Villains > Chapter 01 - "A Second Coming" & Chapter 02 - "Butterfly Effect"

y/n ?

And i'm guessing that splitting Earth is the new one?
I think i've seen it 2 or 3 times on the first two episodes so far, and the African dude ( i dont know his name) painted it, right?

EDIT: Well I know that the sign still has importance but it's like every season has some sort of symbol or saying.

Season 1: Save the cheerleader save the world.
Season 2: Godsend sign.
Season 3: splitting earth (?)

Ha, yeah like in Angela's dream they gave it a few seconds of fame, but maybe that was only to emphasize the fact that it was his sword he was killed with?

I think that the earth splitting apart is actually the new version of the bomb in new york painting, it's a portent of things to come and this time they could be even more devastating than before, as illustrated in the breaking of the world.

Ok well if you remember correctly, when the show first started, they said they would subtly show the HELIX in the background, and the symbol frequently appears as a pattern formed by mundane ( i.e. season one- in the pool with the floaty things ) well they kept true to their word if you look closely at the SPLITTING EARTH its the fire in the splitting middle of the world, the flames make a slanted makeshift HELIX symbol. about 45 degrees to the right.

which could also be a metaphor that these abilities are going to destroy the world, split friends into enemies, and put ppl on different sides

I guess they're doing this with the cockroach aswell.
Anyone else notice in The Butterfly Effect when Claire was hugging H.R.G that there was a cockroach on the roof?
