i thought Daffy D stole both halves?
First from hiro in the office and the second just after the haitian was knocked out. She was taking them both to arthur, so why do they only have one half?
What have i missed?

Actually, the fact that they have both halves and can't seem to make it work leads me (and my Heroes watching pals) to believe that perhaps they is a third part of the formula; such as a centre piece that perhaps Angela knew enough to have removed...Or perhaps even Kaito knowing Hiro would open the safe, ripped off a piece to hide somewhere else.

nahh, that's how chemists draw molecules.... the bottom looks fine to me. if that theory is correct, they just made it look like that to fake em out (because it looks like it's complete)

actually looking at it again, the writing is less important than the grid of the paper, do ya see it, do ya, do ya, huh, huh?

The grid of the paper doesn't match up, but the drawing looks like it does.

Oh a third part that goes right in the middle and the other two only ripped that way so it appears complete?
What about that big white spot on the right half?

Oct 28 2008, 05:27 AM
ya the grids doesnt match on the lower part of the formula... but the upper one does... could just be something the writers didnt notice...

the 2 halves of the formula do fit together. there was something wrong with the formula in general. i think its means that the formula used on nathan and tracy worked only because of their dna. but i dont think it could work on normal humans

just a quick one to say that close up the two pieces don't match up, the rip is similar on both pieces but not the same.
I think the grid is important, it could be an oversight on the producer's behalf but I don't think so.
Btw, the white holes are just bad copy and pasting in photoshop, it took about 30secs to make that

The triplets had no powers in their whole family. They don't have special DNA ready to absorb powers, they were just tests to see if it worked on anyone. So the formula does work.
So a third piece makes sense, as we know it works, but Arthur doesn't know what the missing third piece is.

or maybe the triplets did but they dont know about it. they could have been adopted like claire or sylar
