I was reading with much interest the users' comments about the development of the many plotlines, but I think the future scenes we've seen in "I am become death" might 'spoil' a bit of twists.

I mean we've seen Matt and Daphne are alive and married 4 years in the future so there's no way anyone could have believed Parkman's death by Knox.

The same goes about other scenes/lines, for example Nathan and Tracy being held and possibly in life-danger by Mohinder wheras we've already seen them both 4 years in the future.

You might easily argue the future can change or may be already changed due to stepping of some butterfly, but - and here my doubt/question comes - in Usutu's house in Africa there is the painting of the explosion in Costa Verde so I'm assuming until we can see that image the future we know from "I am become death" is expected to stay unchanged and finally we cannot expect any plot-line development going against this.

What do you think?

just remember that whatever these guys do in the present can alter the predicted future greatly.
im sure the future won't be this easily predicted as the last 2 seasons.

The Costa Verde painting may have been after events changed. Its not as if Usutus going to show irrelevent paintings. Plus things have been changing. Gabriel meeting Claire is one change. The point of the Butterfly Effect, is that something that seems small may change things on a grander scale later. Tbh we didn't see enough of the future in 'A Second Coming' to make rational judgements on whats been changed in 'I Become Death'.

Gabriel meeting Claire did affect the future we've seen in I'm become death as well as LVL 5 villains escaping from their cells (at least Knox) and in fact such future is not the same as the one at the very beginning of the Volume 3.

True is we cannot make rational judgements on the changings. We only know in both the timelines people have the powers and Peter is being seized by Pineharst, but what I mean or better my theory is until the explosion painting remains unchanged the plot shall develop in the way that leads to the future as seen in I am become death.

For example would it make any sense if Knox or Nathan were killed in some situation in the present day when we've seen them alive 4 years in the future?

Of course I'm not referring to people who do know that future to act in order to alter it, regardless the final purpose, but to the situations involving people who don't have idea of the future scenario i.e. Mohinder trapping Nathan and Tracy.

i think FPeter changed the future when he shot nathan, 'cos he was going on about everyone knew about them but when Nathan was dealt with FPeter was now concerned with people getting abilities, so if they stop abilities getting out, the I Am Become Death future won't happen.

Nathan himself has changed aswell, as f_Peter mentioned to Nathan that he had different future from the one he had now. So,...
