Now that they've got Mohinder playing the role of an evil scientist, do you guys think there's scope for him to become the next uber-villain. Maybe in Season Four or something?
The way I was thinking, was that the Petrelli's have the ability to gather powers from others, using their innate abilities, to make themselves stronger. Mohinder could do something along the same lines, but with science. That is, he may capture heroes (as he's done in Season Three) and figure out a way to transfer their abilities to himself.
Thoughts?

Could work but i think as a sub plot as that's usually how heroes works until the last few episodes of every season

I keep thinking back to Mohinder in 'I am Become Death', and he seems to have been shafted by Pinehearst. But we have had a butterfly effect, and anything can happen. Its not as if having a a mutated Mohinder is going to break the budget either.

Personally I feel Mohinder is going to die soon. Remember how he used to be narrator? He seems to have lost that job to Nathan in Angels and Monsters. (or monsters and angels, wtv it was called)
Plus I see no way for Mohinder to redeem himself anymore. His role was to be the human scientist. Now he is the mutant evil bug monster who kills and coccuns people.

Same here, I'm betting that once he completes The Company's formula he'll have outlived his purpose and Arthur will kill him. Either that or he'll give him a fesh injection, steal his abilities and then kill him.

They won't kill Mohinder. It would be crazy, Loads of people love him. I think he's great.

I agree I don't think they'll kill him off. He's the glue that keeps it all together no matter how reptile he's gotten. No matter how many butterflies can be stepped on, I think that once Mohinder's injected himself, there aren't many different roads Mohinder can go down. I'm sure he'll end up like was showed in 'I Am Become Death' but I see more use in his future until then.

His gradual decent over the next volume could be good.

I personally feel Mohinder's character has deteriorated into an annoying, whiny mess.
This could support the theory that he's going to die as it feels like they've just given up on his character

However, he could become so annoying, and so whiny, that he becomes the next supervillain as he feels he's got to inflict his irritating character onto all of us :|

maybe at the end of volume three the whole formula/injection will never happen and there will be a new story arc in vol 4
i like mohinder as a powerless character btw just like hrg -- theres too many evolved humans already

I didn't like where they took Mohinder. Imagine HRG with abilities!! It just doesn't fit. I mean, Mohinder's ability is just gross. Some other sort of villainic ability would have fulfilled the purpose just as well, but no, they have to give him some disgusting cocooning ability.

I think they gave him an ability to show the character just how hard it is to cope with having an ability. that, or to demonstrate that some things aren't meant to be.
