I was checking to see if there is anyone in this forum that loves guitar hero? I play this game all the time when i have nothing to watch. If you haven't played i suggest you do. It takes a little practice to get good. I am playing on expert right now and i can get anywhere from 75% to 84%. And on Hard i can get anywhere to 80% to 97%. So yeah I play it all the time.

I love Guitar Hero! I think that they should make a DDR/Guitar Hero game where you have to dance and play the guitar at the same time! It would be sooo hard, but sooo much fun.

I'm not nearly that coordinated!
I LOVE Guitar Hero! I bought the second one just after Christmas and it's so addicting. I can get 80-90% on hard, and I've gotten 60% on expert on Freebird! Haha...that song is like crazy long...
I also am an avid guitar player, and this has really helped my fretboard speed =]

Most likely you would. I play bass guitar, and I love Guitar Hero.

This game looks like fun! I would really like to try it out...I would probably suck though because I don't know how to play guitar (except for like a couple of notes

I don't know how to play guitar, either, but I'm good at this game. (Well, good is relative. I can kick a** in Easy and Medium, but Hard and Expert are still too hard for me.)

I'm so useless at this game

I'm really not good at many video games, especially compared to one of my friends. She pretty much beats us at EVERY video game we play with her.
Message in a Bottle gets really annoying near the end of the song too...

I know exactly what you mean.."sending out an SOS" gets a bit TOO redundant

Yeah, now everytime I hear a repetitive song I start saying "sending out an SOS!" Because I was playing that song at my friend's house since I actually KNEW that song, and we were about to smash the tv by the time I was done

What makes it even worse is that they play it where I work. I typically hear it at least three times a week, GH not included.

Guitar Hero is awesome. I am almost through Expert on GH2. Ahh, the Police. THey gots back together recently, if I'm not mistaken. So, more importantly, who can't wait for GH: Rocks te 80's

I loved it when I first got it, but the novelty is wearing a bit thin nowadays. I have both GH1 and GH2.
I usually love musical games, I have Frequency and Amplitude too, which are made by the same developer.
GH2 had a pretty sucky tracklist compared to GH1. Funnily enough if you watch the 'making of' in GH2, they say how they got some rock know-it-all to create the tracklist. Too bad he didn't know how to have good taste.
It's possible to create your own tracklist now, I may look into that the breathe new life into the game.
I also have a PS3, and apparently they're developing a full band version of the game which might be pretty cool.

I love the game but i have neither the endurance or speed necessary to make any progress. I wish i had gotten the PS2 version so i could import my own songs.

That would be awesome. I can beat most songs on hard, its great!!
Also they released the demo of GHIII and you can download it on the Xbox live!
You can goto gamecrazy and play the demo with the new guitar. I find it alot harder to use but its more realistic.
Also they are releasing GHlll for the pc and DS.
And RockBand does look awesome! i think it will be amazing to all play together! or just go on tour with each instrument in the game.

I have guitar hero 3 now, and yeah it's an improvement over 2 for sure. Better tracklist, characters don't spaz out when you go into star power mode- which is a lot better.
I also got rock the 80s, man, that tracklist sucks so much. I mean the 80s had so many great songs, and it's like they picked the most obscure, bad sounding ones.. ugh.
