From what i read and seen, Episode 8 "Villains" will be the best yett.
Though i don't like "past" episodes cause they have nothing to do with the present,
i like seeing how things happened and became what they are today.
Even if it doesn't add on to the present plot.
From the photos i seen, Sylar, Tracey Elle, ect. Join Aurthur and hes sitting the the chair, and there
all behind him.
SEMI-SPOILER:
Matt said that they were already filming Episode 2 of Fugitives.
He said that they are all working together to get out of this like "Gwantomino bay"(miss spelled that) place.
So im guessing, Aurthur gets all of the "villains" to attack the heroes to take their powers, and lock them up.
idk, discussion please;

yeah it looks like it's gonna be amazing
And tbh, I've absolutely loved every past episode. They're not an intense as the future episodes, but I must say, "Six Months Ago" was pretty much my favourite Season 1 episode. They reveal so much about the present, all the interesting stuff that we never properly knew before. We're gonna find out everything we've always wondered about Arthur/Angela & Sylar/Elle etc.

but we also want answers, and flashback episodes always explain a lot!

I'm looking forward to this episode. As like the previous poster mentioned, they're are questions that need answered. I just hope they get the feel right, mixing in new scenes with old ones from S1.

What is this... the 8th ep this season? Yeah it is about time for a "back-in-time" episode for season 3. Tis' to be expected; Season 1 had 24 eps the 10th one in was a flashback, Season 2 had 12 eps and 8th was a flashback... It is Time.

@rig - I think the word you're looking for is "formulaic". Not that there's anything wrong with that...there's reasoning by the formula. after all. I'm just happy that they don't force stupid recap shows down our throats every few weeks like ABC does (or at least used to do) with their high-viewership primetime shows.
I think the timing of these past episodes is great for 2 main reasons:
1) They give intense viewers like us some answers to long0standing questions, plus provide foreshadowing of things yet to be seen.
2) They allow more casual viewers (like my roommate) re-engage with the characters and fill in the gaps that make their heads spin.
This one should be great, particularly due to the Arthur factor. I don't know if I'd be willing to prematurely call it the best episode ever, though. A few others, 'Company Man' in particular, set the bar pretty high. However, this is coming off of a bye week, and we all know that absence makes the heart grow fonder...
We'll find out for sure tomorrow I guess.
