Hi,

in one of the latest episodes Arthur stole Adam's power, which made his body vapourise by the damage of aging. I don't find that logically correct. Adam, (like Clair, Peter and Gabriel) could heal from any wounds, so after 400 years, his cells have constantly got healed from getting old. Consequently, Adam's cells were already healed and healthy when Arthur stole his power, and he should be alive by now.

Peter has gotten a LOT of wounds during the whole series, and although those damages were healed with his power, he did not get the wounds back when he lost his power due to Arthur's deed.

So why was Adam's power reversed, but not Peter's?

Possibly, but Arthurs powers havent fully been explained.

If he's like Rogue from X-men, if he holds on long enough while taking powers, he could drain someones entire life force and kill them.

Nice try... though I'm sure this will never be fully explained.

It could be, even though Adam's cells were constantly regenerating they were 400 years old, so when Adam was striped of the ability the cells broke down and aged very quickly turning him into dust. Peter and Claire aren't that old so it would affect them.

Yep. Angela herself says his cells were dying and regenerating in near harmony at this point. You can't have rapid cell regeneration without equal rapid cell death, you'd be a biological mess. When Arthur took his ability, Adam's cells died rapidly as they have been, but without any replacements. Biologically speaking, new cells get their lifespan from the dying ones (the DNA).
