I was so upset that he died!!! Though I kind of thought it would be Sylar (so that he could have the future painting) but I'm still amazed! I was hoping he'd last longer than he did.

Yeah it really sucks that he died, he was a really good character. What sucks even worse is that Maya is still alive. She'll live but guys like Usutu die off.

Gabriel lost Isaac's power when he had the shanti virus. He no longer has it.
Also, I was wondering if Arthur took Rafiki's power, as well as killing him? The screaming did seem to suit Peter's but it was all a bit too quick. Also, why didn't Ando notice anything was wrong before Hiro woke up? If Rafiki went out on his own, he at least would have asked why.


lol. Usutu is his real name but he's rather like Rafiki off of Lion King, so, he was given that name.

Sorry, don't wanna sound annoying but.. could you avoid spoilers in topic's titles?
There are people out of US that can't watch the episode at the same time than you; so if you wrote "Oh no, Rafiki!" (or "R.I.P. Ando" as happened some weeks ago) that can be quite spoilering!

I know this is the area to talk about episodes (so it actually is a spoiler section) but I think that titles have to be as "neutral" as possible, just in order to avoid that someone who have not seen the episode, might accidentally open this section and found unwanted spoilers

I think this episode is great the fact that i had to wait a week for it, and i thought we will see Knox's past with Matt.

If that is the case then how do you explain Gabriel being able to use his telekinesis power right after he heals himself back up in that final S2 clip. He acquired that power by stealing it from someone else. Yet somehow he has possesion of it cause he makes the can come to him.

Also we see him in the future painting a futuristic picture and.... He also uses ted's power to blow up the town.

As for the main topic at hand

I think Arthur has chosen to take Hiro's ability and leave him be. Time Travel and Time Freeze would be a great asset for Arthur but also a dangerous one so who knows.

As for Usutsu
Good pickup on the Pilot episode have to watch that again lol.

Sad to see him go but didn't care from him much these future painters don't seem to last once they are found out. lol.

I have posted this elsewhere, but will post it here too... Come on think about it... There is no way Usutu is dead... Arthur is not in Africa. Hiro is still on his spirit walk and is still asleep in the mud hut. Arthur is just in his mind. But I do think that when Hiro wakes up he will be powerless...

The only thing so far that really bothers me is why the hell is Flint still alive... Just kill him off now please

I think Arthur did take his power as in episode nine their is a still image of him drawing with the other villains around him so perhaps thats how he did it?

I think he knew his death was going to happen so as a final sacrifice he allowed Hiro to finish his spirit walk. Also didn't he tell Ando to keep watch over him? So Ando would have probably missed Usutu slip out of the room.

I get your point, but I don't think that will solve the problem. I mean, you could easily open a thread with a generic title only to discover much more spoiling information than you'd get from the title alone, and you won't have even had any warning. I agree that a title that says "OMG! Arthur cut off Rafiki's head!" is obviously too much, but something as non-specific as "Oh no, Rafiki" isn't quite as bad.

I think there's a happy medium here somewhere. I certainly don't think it's fair to say you shouldn't come to the boards until you've seen the whole episode. Sometimes it's fun to discuss things as they unfold rather than after we've seen the whole episode. Sorry that some people felt the need to be so harsh. I didn't think your post was out of line at all. If anything, it made me think a little more about how I'll approach these situations in the future myself.

I'm gonna have to explain this again, aren't I? It has been confirmed that Gabriel was stripped of all his power apart from Intuitive Aptitude and Telekinesis because of the Shanti virus. This is fact. How he has those powers in the future is unknown but it is speculated that either he's slowly regaining his other powers from recovering from the virus or he stole those ablilities from other people, which is more of a scapegoat reason.

Also, Arthur already has space-time manipulation from Peter. Hiro has his powers in the next episode, too.
