Haitian CAN stop Arthur HA! It was a poison that paralyzed him... Angela is once again casting dark shadows....Got to get Arthur and Peter to Haiti to find the Haitian to bring daddy down! 
For a minute, I thought it was Rafiki, not the Haitian.
What I think will happen is that Peter and Nathan go to Haiti to find the Haitian to get his help (don't know why he would be in Haiti) but the Haitian requests their assistance in taking down his Brother, Samedi, because he's terrorising their village or something and when he's taken down, it's back to America. It'll probably take us to the end of Volume 3 and then maybe the Haitian gets killed before they can stop Arthur.
