I really can't see Arthur letting him live, for someone who would kill his right hand man (Muray) just like that, why would he let some nerdy looking kid live?
I'm thinking it's one of the following:
Ando manifests!!!!!!!! maybe this is where ando finally realizes his power, shoots arthur and runs.
OR
The eclipse starts while arthur is draining Hiro's powers, and does something freaking to them.
OR
Arthur has loyalties to Kaito, and lets hiro go because of his old friendship (Unlikely, arthur wanted to kill his own son, no way hiro is going to get away because of this)
I'm pretty sure that Hiro won't die though, well at least not permanently ....

Well, at the very least, *poof* there goes Hiro's powers.
I was completely shocked. I can't imagine Hiro without his powers. He is such a good, noble character. He seems like the only character who acutally deserves them. He takes it seriously.
If Hiro dies, I will personally fire the writers of this show. (Well, I would if I had that power...)

i think he will take hiro's powers and hiro gets them back when the eclispe happens or ando gets a power

A powerless Hiro is better than a dead Hiro.

Well if you think about it, it was leading up to it.
The whole thing about Hiro denying to go to the past, maybe since his character has changed and is too weirded out by the butterfly effect and the whole death of Charlie and his father.
I think, Ando will kick his but before he can kill Hiro, and that's how Hiro lives.
About Hiro being powerless, I believe they'll all get new powers after the eclipse, and that's how Ando gets his power too.

People seem to be talking about Ando "manifesting" a power to save Hiro. The only reason Ando had a power in the future was because that was a future in which people could buy powers on demand thorugh the perfection of the formula. Thats the very future that Hiro and Ando are trying to prevent so in my opinion Ando will NEVER aquire any powers unless they fail to prevent the destruction of the world, which i can't really see happening either. Also, Arthur won't be taking Hiro's power; why would he need to? He already has Time/Space manipulation from Peter.
What he actually does is Mess up Hiro's brain to make him believe he is a 10 year old. Then Ando has to help Hiro regain his memory, with the help of a character played by Seth Green and some other female character.

Well, obviously something is going to happen about the eclipse. I don't think that they're all gonna get new powers, that's ridiculous. I mean, look at Adam Monroe/Kensei. He kept the same powers for 400 years, obviously eclipses did not change his power.
What I think will happen in the eclipse, if anything, is that more people will emerge with powers. I mean, maybe Ando will, but I doubt it. I think Ando had a power in the future because of the formula, not because of the eclipse.

Sorry to be a bore,.... but this comment doesn't make sense to me. First you say that the eclipse will alter powers in people, notably Ando. Then you back track and say the formula will,.... I'm lost Laura?!

Maybe the eclipse will only change your powers if you have the potential but no power. So if you've lost your ability the eclipse will give you a new one or your old one back. Which means that as long as adams power was not medled with he would keep it indefinatly, but when arthur took it time caught up with him. So all the heros would , maybe, return to normal.
However I'm not saying this will happen...

It's quite obvious that he wont die, but I do believe he will be in the same predicament that Peter is
It's hard to tell as to what will happen to him, but it sure will be bad.
