This probably belongs in theories but it also connects to this episode I felt in finding out the formula.

When I heard that apparently they needed Claire's blood to make the formula It got me thinking then how did Nathan get his power. Because he was given his power through the formula..... Claire wasn't even born then.

Unless they gave it to Nathan after Claire was born.

Taking blood from a baby though is something I would consider not to be right.

Anyway I thought about way back to the first couple of episodes when Angela told Hiro he had the key all along. And the next thing you know he's pulling out Adam's coffin and releasing him.
Then they bring up the formula and Adam goes on to say "I knew it come back to haunt me one day."

Is it possible that Adam discovered the formula for the company and found out that it was also a mix of his blood that could give powers to others.

That being said if that was the case then why did they kill Adam you ask, especially if he was the source of the formula... Well because there was a new healer and Arthur probably wouldn't feel right taking his Grand Daughters' ability away for his own gain. So take someone like Adams and make Claire your scapegoat for the new formula.

Woah thats a pretty interesting theory... I liked Adam... Pity he had to go so quick and briefly... maybe they'll bring him back lol.. After all when it comes to superheroes... being dead only last till the next pen drop.

I agree with you. It's not that Claire's blood itself is the catalyst, it's just stored there. Maybe because her blood has the potential to store it? This makes sense for Adam's blood holding this catalyst, too.

At least previously.
Maybe they (the company) moved it from Adam's blood to Claire's when she was young because Adam was too dangerous to trust anymore..

I don't know...

it certianly makes sense, arthur struggled imprisoning angela so he would proberly struggle ordering claire's death, even if it was for his own gain. it would make more sense for him to kill the person that was a threat than the person who could be manipulated onto his side and is fairly harmless

pplus storing it in some one who can amost never die is like putting some thing in a titanium case covered with steel you can get in but its not likly
