when D.L. choked her...yeah she died. in fact mohinder gave a whole speach at the end of the episode about learning to control powers and abilitys or dieing. for some reason someone somewhere thought it to be better to just let her live. definitly not my decision...

Yes it was definetly Niki who broke the club and not Jessica, anyway there is no way that Jessica could have taken control broke the club and let Niki take control again in the few seconds that it occured..and I like that Niki has an actual power now



Niki didn't die, unlike Claire there is no way that she could have "regenerated" if she died. DL didn't kill Niki I think he just knocked her out

Death an unconsciuosness are two entirely different things....I argee that she was simply choked out with the DL struggle. Enough pressure accross both carotid arteries applied simultaniously for 4 seconds = sleepybye time, not death....this is a fact.

Surprisingly, I'm not as fired up about it as you are, but I definitely do agree with you. I mean, I'm not scolding people for having their opinions, but they really need to stop calling Niki a whiner. Wouldn't you be scared as hell if one day you woke up to see a bunch of bloodied dead bodies around you with no recollection of how that came to be?!? Or if your reflection that wasn't yours started talking to you about things you normally wouldn't be thinking?

And yeah, Niki definitely did NOT die in Better Halves, just got knocked out.

Niki is my favorite Hero too.I don't look at jessica as being a Hero I look at Jess as being well evil.As far as which girl who broke the club Monday night yes it was Niki it was said at the NBC site.When Niki said she didn't do that she didn't know that she actually did.When DL knocked her out cold and took Micah he definitely did not kill her.

Now i am hoping and Praying she is not the one being killed off before February sweeps because if she is I will be pissed.I wish I can find a spoiler with the exact character who bites it before sweeps all I got so far was hints.

Mmm really personally I don't think so . Heroes audience towards Nikki is like the character herself...they are really divided . You love her or you hate her. For the record I love her LoL. Her character is very interesting and imo there's other characters more boring than her. For me Isaac's plot is more weak than Nikki/Jessica is. I think that she have still a lot more to give, not like others that seems their road is done ( or they doesn't have more to give) for the story.

She'll live, I just teleported into the future and viewed episode 24.....wow, wait till you see what sort of monsterous DNA mutations the bomb caused....you thought there were odd powers before....wait, I've said too much....

If that is so, I bet Micah's going to hack into an ATM machine and steal some money as a way of revealing his powers to his father (hence the ATM in the promo) and use it as bail for his mom, if she has bail, which she probably doesn't have...

No there is no way that there is bail for Niki especially since they are trying to go for the death penalty

OK, be warned, I think I nailed a piece down...in one of the descriptions of episode 15, it said that [spoiler]Linderman has a new assasin...Linderman persuaded the state of Nevada to drop all murder charges against Niki...even though she just about or did kill the psyciatrist with the taser. In the mirror shot at the end of episode 14, Niki was stuck in the mirror, and Jessica was about to go play with Micah.

There is another spoiler that shares that Matt becomes a bodyguard for an attorney...and it puts him in Lindermans new assasins crosshairs.

In the Canadian preview for episode 15, it clearly show Jessica throwing Matt through a window. Jessica is Lindermans new assasin.

I think this nails it, Jessica/Niki is evil and will die soon.[/spoiler]

Ooo very nice little spoiler there Hero in Waiting and I wouldn't be surprised at all that's something that Jessica would be very willing to do

The question should be, once Jessica does these things...will Niki be left to pay the price again, or will Niki eventually be able to control Jessica?

I have doubt the spoiler about Niki/Jessica if they harm her I am done with the show she is one of the main reasons I chose to watch.

I don't know if this theory has been explored yet, but here are my 2 cents re: Niki/Jessica character:

There's been a lot of speculation about her future - especially whether she's the next Heroes character scheduled to die this season (personally I think it's either Isaac - who according to Hiro's teleportation earlier in the season is going to have been murdered by Sylar's preferred method of killing - or Simone, who has no storyline at this point - give the poor girl something to do besides worrying/wandering around about Peter or Isaac). Niki/Jessica, I really believe, is going to be very central to the future of the Heroes' saga - whether it's in this season or next.

Ask yourself this? Why is it that she's the only character (as Jessica that is) that has the physical embodient of that very unique Japanese symbol combo? In the WIKI on the Heroes website, this symbol is described as:

In episode 12 (Godsend), the symbol is revealed by Ando Masahashi to be a combination of two Japanese characters: 才 (sai) meaning "great talent" and 与 (yo) meaning "Godsend". It also greatly resembles a segment of RNA, connecting it to the genetic mutation giving the heroes their powers.

To my knowledge, no other character shares this physical characteristic as of yet. Plus the meaning behind the symbol - "great talent" and "Godsend" - there's a reason why the writers of this show have given this tatoo to Jessica. Plus, if you watch the opening scenes of episode 12 ("Godsend"), I don't think it was mere coincidence that the title of the episode displayed across the screen when Niki appeared onscreen (her back to the camera in her jail cell) - plus the scene preceding and the scenes following displayed the names of the characters as subtitles (e.g.The Petrelli Family, New York, NY - for Nathan, Peter, and their mother - or Claire Bennet, Odessa, Texas) - Niki's "scene/title" was "Godsend" and their was no subtitle to announce her as "Niki Sanders".

I'm just really curious what the writers have in store for Niki/Jessica - because there's a lot of conflict within that character - good, bad and tragic.

I never thought about all that Niki/Jessica symbol stuff until I read all that and that also gives me another reason why I think she is definitely not getting killed off March 5th.

The only problem is that even though she's met Nathan and obviously has a connection with Linderman she is the one character who seems the most detached from everyone else but I think that eventually she will become more connected, I guess we'll see what happens

Hopefully she becomes more interesting soon, she is a good actress, her storyline sucks... I don't like the whole DUAL PERSONALITY THING...

She is connected though it just doesn't always seem like it. Niki was the first to be seen dealing with Linderman who is now known to be connected to just about everyone. Niki is also connected to Nathan through their little hotel rendezvous and she is now connected to Matt

She is definitely connected people just do not have the attention span to wait for the connection. I for one do she has a few connections now all the Heroes including Niki because she is a Hero even though people won't deal with that but she is so all the Heroes and linderman are all connected.Each and every one of them just about mentioned his name.

Plus she connected with Nathan again tonight when she warned him of Linderman's intentions.

It was awesome to see Nikki getting some control back over Jessica!

Niki/Jessica are connected to other people in the show but just not as much or as significantly as other characters..that's a big reason why so many people can't stand her storyline

I just can't stand her story so far...

i know that nikki's power is the split thing but what if she was just bipolar/schizo/ or had multiple personalities what if that was just a mental issue and not really her powers, because tha can happen to anyone. but if it isher power, what is it useful for. how can it help the world.

and jessica is the one i need the most help on. i've seen her work. is her ability being an assassin, like elektra because she's good at it. is that her ability to fight

Nikki doesn't know that she can cotrol her abilitiy yet. Her/Their ability is "super-strength."

All they have showed is her ripping people in half, and SIMPLY throwing people through windows with NO problem!

I really hope that they start showing more of Nikki and Jessica. I find them to be the most interesting characters of the show. I just wish they were more involved in the story line.

I hope they make her storyline a lot more interseting! I LOVE ALI LARTER! She is a great actress, don't get me wrong, I just hate her storyline... Tim Kring has indeed seen this problem and he has promised a compromise in her ability... POSSIBLY A NIKKI/JESSICA THROWDOWN?!

Very true, I never actually thought of comparing the meaning of the symbol to why Jessica has it..and it would be pretty pointless if they just killed off Niki/Jessica without explaining her purpose first

What about being able to project or be in 2 places at once ie jessica in hotel and nikki warning nathan.

No proof or evidence...

I doubt that the two can split, they are both stuck in one body and I doubt that they will ever become seperate entities.

Sorry bout the spelling mistake, just assumed that they could be seperate. How do you think they will do the showdown between the 2 will it just be them talking it out then or will she just be fighting the hallucination of herself that Niki/Jessica see.

the showdown i could see matt being their then showing them fight. but use would niki be without jessica. jessica would be ok without niki.

I still believe they are one person, and that they are together! As soon as Nikki/Jessica [spoiler]fight/brawl[/spoiler], Nikki will realize that Jessica was always just part of her conscience... And that Jessica only came out becuase of her feelings... No doubt that Jessica isn't real, SHE IS REAL! But she can be "controlled." I think Nikki will overcome it, and she will win! At least, I HOPE SO!
