Hmm, I guess it would be the one that had nothing to do with Tarantino, Rodriguez, or Frank Miller, wouldn't it? Certainly not the subject of this topic, so why linger?
Grindhouse has already gotten an 8.6/10 rating on IMDB (which is tremendous, BTW), making it the 108th greatest movie of all time (as far as their list goes, at least). It's also gotten an 81% freshness rating from RottenTomatoes, meaning the critical consensus for the film? "Certified fresh."
Bottomline is, if Tarantino and Rodriguez teaming up for their first major hit since Sin City two years ago wasn't enough to get you excited about this, then maybe the lead role in the first film of this double feature, Planet Terror, was.

That's right, our very own Rose McGowan, from the late, great, The WB cult hit Charmed, was the final nail in the coffin for me. It's been almost an entire year since we've seen any of the Charmed cast members on any screen, let alone silver, not since the show ended on a high note last May, along with the network itself.
But enough about Rose McGowan (even though it's undeniable that the former Charmed One "Paige Matthews" has her biggest film role in her career and pretty much overshadows everyone else in either feature of this film), because Grindhouse itself is what delivered in a year that's already proven to be 3x what 2006 was in films.

So that just leaves me with the REAL bottomline that you all knew was coming. Because, to quote the esteemed, wise, and always charismatic Mr. Linderman from Heroes, without a bottomline (or the cream sauce that fills a pot pie if you will), really, "what's the point?"
The fact that Grindhouse being a critical success was nothing short of a foregone conclusion.
