It's possible that they mean that they will start thinking about how to wrap up the show in May instead of actually wrapping up the show in May. If there's a Volume 6 for September/October 2010, I suppose it's possible they'll start writing in May.

For now, I think everyone should take this as: BS until proven true.

Yes, the ratings aren't as good as they were a few years ago, but it's still one of NBC's top shows and one of the most DVR'd shows.

I don't think this is true. For one thing, they have the dates wrong. Guess will wait and see though eh? I hope its not true, its one of the few only shows on NBC that gets decent ratings.

If it gets cancelled this season we're all screwed. There are way too many unanswered questions that will never be answered if this show gets cancelled.

I think they'll give it one more season before cancelling it that is if the rumor is even true although I have been seeing it too often as of late.

I would be happy with 5 seasons. I honestly don't think it deserves to end this season. The ratings have been up 4 weeks in a row, the current season is as strong as it can be so late into a show, and there's still so much the writers can do with this. It needs a chance to do a 5th season.

At LEAST 8 Seasons will do me. Everyone's expecting it to end within the next two Season but imagine how much could change in 8 Seasons! Wow...
