Kelly's new single "Never Again" hit the radio on Friday. You can hear it on her official site (www.kellyclarkson.com) I personally love the song, but I'm also very biased. I've been nearly obsessed with her since I saw her perform at a local event in my town. As some of you know, I also had the privilege of meeting her about two years back. She's truly a sweetheart.

It's about her relationship with David Hodges (former member of Evanesence (sorry if I spelled it wrong)) They dated for awhile and then all of the sudden he broke up with her and married his ex girlfriend.

She wrote the entire album this time despite her management's nervousness. There is no release date yet, but I'm sure we'll have one soon. The new album is called "My December", referring to an old phrase used to express a hard time in your life.

The lyrics sound like she has been very hurt. I used to adore her,until she broke off her tour to Israel because she was sick,and then she just gone quiet and i haven't heard about her for a while.

Well i hope the album turns out great.

I'm not Kelly, but I am really sure she hated breaking off the tour in Israel. She posted in one of her journals how excited she had been for that. I think she had like bronchitus or something...that can last a real long time. I had it once and it lasted for an entire month.

And she has been silent for awhile...I can't argue with that. Hopefully she'll get her popularity back just as fast with this new record.

I have not heard the song but by the lyrics it sounds like something I may not like I like some her fast stuff but I prefer her ballady stuff I am in love with the songs "Just missed The Train", Before your love" and low from her first album and her "Breakaway", and Because of You" from her second.I really hope she has some ballads on the 3rd album as well. I can not stand the rocker sound sorry. Her second album is good but I love the first album better.

Wow, I didn't realize the relationship/break-up with David was so bad that she had to write TWO songs about it. I knew they broke up, but I hadn't heard the whole back story about it. I can't believe he would do something like that since he seems like such a nice guy

Yeah, I really hope she has some songs where she just belts it all out. I really like some of her rocker songs, but she should really take advantage of what made her claim to fame in the first place: her voice.

I definitely agree. I like the rocker side, but I also like the soulful ballady Kelly. She said she had some slow acoustic songs on this next album along with a few soul tracks that I hope will really show off her voice. My favorite off the last album was "Where is your Heart"? and the live version of "Beautiful Disaster"...that was mind blowing. She has said this album isn't one specific genre of music...so we'll see *fingers crossed*

It's just that she performed in US like usual after it was announced that she won't be coming to Israel after all.
Anyways let's drop it,i don't keep harm feeling for her.

Oh yeah, I heard it. It's a demo of the song. It's pretty good, but of the all the songs out there, I like "Sober" the best. It's a shame Clive Davis is giving her such a hard time about it

I haven't listened to all of the songs yet, but I have almost all of them downloaded. Very...different I must say. Sounds almost indie-like. I like how she kept changing up her vocals.

I heard she might be going country for her next album.

Yeah, that was in her AIM interview.

Now I have the entire album on my computer in higher quality and I must say that I really like it. My favorites in particular are Sober, Yeah, Hole, and Irvine. I like the others, but I feel like I need to give them more listens.

She's also on the cover of Elle this week. Awesome spread, especially before the article, which is also very good by the way, but I didn't get to finish reading it. I got a lot more respect for her after reading it. I can't believe all the shit the label was giving her

I think "Sober" was released for the radio, but it really didn't do that well. I think her tour is back on though.

And now I hear she's in the studio already recording her next album. Once again she's gonna be Clive Davis' slave and record whatever he wants to hear

Not sure how well her album has sold cumulatively, but I remember she was #2 on the Billboard charts the first week the album was released, being beat out by Hannah Montana

I don't know, I think it's just that her album doesn't have enough radio friendly songs. She really mellowed out on this third album, and I like it, and I think a lot of critics did too, but apparently it just wasn't a hit with most people.

Actually, she's releasing a new single, or should I say singles (a few different ones for different regions). She filmed a music video for Don't Waste Your Time recently and she has confirmed that she isn't going back to the studio anytime soon.

Personally I don't really like Never Again.

The reviews are pretty much divided. They either thought it was very good or very bad.
If you ask me, I think its miles ahead of Breakaway. There just isn't any diversity there compared to My December.
