"Landslide"

AS LINDERMAN ARRIVES, NATHAN CONSIDERS THE COST TO WIN THE ELECTION; MALCOLM MCDOWELL, ERIC ROBERTS AND GEORGE TAKEI GUEST-STAR -- Poised to become a member of Congress and maybe more, Nathan (Adrian Pasdar) considers the cost to those he loves, along with his mother's (guest star Cristine Rose) advice and Linderman's (guest star Malcolm McDowell, "Entourage,""A Clockwork Orange") prophecy. As he prepares to face Sylar (guest star Zachary Quinto) to the death, Hiro (Golden Globe nominee Masi Oka) learns of his linage from his father (guest star George Takei, "Star Trek"). While various "heroes" fatefully arrive in New York City, Peter (Milo Ventimiglia) and Ted (Matthew John Armstrong) attempt to leave the city before the foretold explosion. H.R.G. (Jack Coleman) and Matt (Greg Grunberg) learn the surprising truth behind the tracking system used on people with special abilities. Santiago Cabrera, Noah Gray-Cabey, Ali Larter, Hayden Panettiere, Sendhil Ramamurthy and Leonard Roberts also star. Clea DuVall, Justin Evans, James Kyson Lee, Missy Peregrym, Eric Roberts, Rena Sofer, Adair Tishler and Jackson Wurth guest-star.

More about Hiros past, that should be awesome! More Takei yay!

HIRO VS SYLAR! WHOA! Been wondering about that!

Peter meets Ted, knew that was coming! Both responsible in some way for the bomb?

And whats the surprising truth behind this tracking system? Tracking system = bomb?
Tim Kring
Yeah, I definitely think that Hiro has the ultimate advantage against Sylar!
Supergirl
With what, his abilities or his sword?

Think about it, Hiro can stop time and cut Sylar's head off...

Though Sylar could have a power to be able to stop Hiro from freezing him, though maybe one of them will "die" and then come back
Supergirl
Sylar could freeze Hiro, there are so many different ways it could work. But then, why didn't future Hiro just go and kill Sylar instead of finding Peter and tell him to save the cheerleader?

Hiro may not have attampted to kill Sylar because he knew he can't? In the past for Future Hiro (present) when he tries to kill Sylar after the election he might fail because of something to do with sylar we do not know about yet, so instead he told peter to save the cheerleader, so that Sylar would not be able to get Claire's powers.

p.s. excuse my english.

Interesting question and one that we will hopefully learn the answer to by the time the season ends

I think that your definetly right in a sense, Hiro knew that it was two days earlier than when he was supposed to kill Sylar. Of course, Hiro didn't want to kill Sylar but basically Hiro killing Sylar right then and there was not meant to be

This may be a bit of a stretch but maybe the reason Future Hiro doesn't kill Past Sylar directly is because of some "cosmic" rule which says that time-travelling Hiro cannot change the past with direct intervention.

That's probably why going back into the past to try and directly save Charlie didn't work. He can only change things directly in his own "present time". Maybe Hiro can only change past events indirectly as in the case of getting peter to "save the cheerleader".

phloat
assume tracking device is the little girl and the surprise would be having to kill an innocent

with regards to future hiro unable to go to the past .. if they think Sylar is dead .. does anyone know he has killed/ taken peter petrelli place ? or does he assume he has killer Sylar at the wrong moment and is studying the correct moment

granted overanalysing for perfection can be counterproductive to the enjoyment of the show..

i mean anyone into semantics .. common .. a superpowers gene ?

I don't think Hiro can have a direct influence on the past, remember when he tried to save Charlie? However, he can go back and talk to someone. He just couldn't have gone and saved the cheerleader himself.

Just watched the preview of landslide, and it says its airing the last 2 episodes back to back, yet you have got the last episode down as airing on the 21 may

I'm confused, wot u uploading tonight, just landslide or both?
Pienix
I think they mean:
14 may: Landslide
21 may: How to stop an exploding man (part 1)
21 may: How to stop an exploding man (part 2)

The last two episodes are one big episode, aired back to back.

Are they still doing it that way? I wasn't sure if they were

i really really hope so, cos theyre going to have to cram a lot in to only 2 hours if they want to give the story a decent roundup.

Yeah though a lot happens in a few minutes on Heroes but it would be a bit crammed
Aerdna
Yeah, they're considering this episode the first hour of the season finale. "How To Stop An Exploding Man" is part 2.

I figured that was what they were doing, ah well it would have been nice to have another hour
Aerdna
Yeah, I thought we had an extra hour too, it's disappointing, but I'm kind of relieved. School work is starting to build on at the end of the year...but I hear we get an extra five minutes biggrin.gif

Better than nothing though the last three minutes of the finale are the first three minutes of the second season premiere
Janeth
OOOH! So we get a tiny sneak peak at Season 2?

Didn't know that!

It'll probably end up being something that's gonna wanna make us want to have Hiros power just so we can go to the future & see the next ep lol.

I was really hoping for a 2hr finale though.

I think that's their intention
Janeth
It wouldn't surprise me if it is, well even if they didn't show us a sneak peak of season 2 we'd still be craving more heroes.
