Hey fans. Been redaing the forums and it still looks like not everybody knows who the exploding man is. Well you guys need to head on over to NBC and read the Heroes Graphic Novels. The one gives some insight into the Future Hiro and the identity of the Exploding man.
Hint It's not Peter.
Really, well thats a relief. Well I guess i know who it is than, unless Sylar somehow gets that power.
Pienix
The only thing the comic says is that it
would be Sylar when Peter didn't save Claire. Sylar regenerated after Hiro stabbed him, and exploded.
but Hiro changes that future by going to the past.

It doesn't say anything about the current exploding man
Which I still believe to be Peter
Well the reason for the explosion is that, Sylar had killed Claire and gained her abilities. Hiro Stabbed him and then regenerated and exploded. However like Hiro said the future did not change yet. Sylar still exploded even though the time was changed by saving Claire. So it is still Sylar who blows.

no i think The future hiro will realize that the timeline that he helped is an alternate timeline and he has to live with his time line..

Either that or hiro is in the future hence he doesnt stab sylar

Once again we're faced with that alternate timeline concept, I'm still not sure who is the exploding man but I think it would be great if the answer was staring us in the face the entire time and it really is Peter
Supergirl
I think by changing the events, the exploding man is now Peter and not Sylar like it was originally supposed to be.

Aww yes, my favorite theory! THE ALTERNATE TIMLINE THEORY! Boy is my head gonna explode this time around!

HAHA! I think it is indeed Peter... I mean look at the signs! They have been showing us and saying this to us for days now! I think it is indeed Peter...

Anyways... If anyone want me to post the LONG list on the "ALTERNATE TIMELINE THEORY," let me know and I will!

For the moment, I think I agree with that
efrens
It's Ted.

how would sylar even blow up, he does not yet have the nuclear power and in the preview for next week peter says "It's me, the bomb!"

I still think that my original assumption is correct.

"Well, based on the new info from the comic, i'd say that Peter hasn't saved the cheerleader yet. He needs to save her from Sylar, again. Hiro says she was killed by Sylar, well, obviously, he's going to try again and Peter needs to save her, so thats when [present] Hiro stabs Sylar, and he is not able to heal."

And in the preview for 19, Mohinder said that Peter was dead but he came back so I still have my doubts as to who it could be

The Graphic Novel sometimes tends to NOT follow the TV Show... So I am sticking with Peter...

The novel is canon with the show, the writers come up with the stories for them, so I'd say that they are reliable

ok heres my theory. its either sylar, ted, or peter. im still leaning towards sylar.

but o matter who it is doesnt it go to reason if they had the power to blow up new york. why would they die. its their ability. wouldnt they be immune to teir own powers.

cause tedd is rasioactive right, he doesnt have cancer yet. so doesnt that reason he's not effected by his ability. so if he blew up, wouldnt he still survive.

He sounded like he was in a lot of pain though in "Company Man" when he was set off, so I don't know

And the Next Chapter is the Alternate Timeline

I believe it's the alternate timeline because Claire is dead in the original timeline
Red
I Agee with Pienix that it's still unknown Isaac Painting of the "Exploding man"
And the Next Chapter is the Alternate Timeline
or is it?
It's Peter that absorbed Ted exploding power.

bring Peter back without the exploding power so then he will not exploded in front of public or even in front of his niece which is Claire aka, "the cheerleader that he saved like she saved him twice which are:

    in the episode of 0.7%.

    in the episode of homecoming.

I like those two parts because both Claire and Peter saved or protected one other liked they loved one other.

I like the episode of 0.7% when Claire was talking to Peter and then looked at the back of his head and found a medium size piece of glass and then Peter said this to Claire- " You saved my life" and then Claire said this " how did it feel to be dead"and then Peter putted his hand on Claire's cheek and then he did a little breathing because of him coming back to life after Claire pulled out the medium size piece of glass that was in the back of his head.

I like the episode of homecoming because Peter saving Claire from Sylar who about to hurt her before she ran away to go to someone who can help her from a psychotic killer (Sylar) and that hero that Peter helped Claire away from the psychotic killer (Sylar) who was about to hurt her but she ran away to Peter and since then Peter and Claire had a relationship. biggrin.gif
