Because he resigned, duh. Anyway, its hinted that someone heals Nathan... Well, we will see won't we, in 4 months ago, just be patient and wait a few more days.

If they get high enough the explosion should still be clearly seen from Kirby Plaza.

I think Peter just pushes Nathan away (maybe with super strength) and just hovers in place while he explodes...

i'm pretty sure peter either told nathan to let him go or he pushed him away. he probably told him, because nathan is haunted by the image of his burned self. this image probably haunts him because of the guilt he felt from letting him go (even though he told him). the burns are obviously from being too close to the explosion of peter.

peter not remembering though...that's got to be the haitian. peter must have been found by adam...somehow...must have got maury to find him. they hook up, adam explains himself, but then the haitian has to stop peter at some important moment and blocks his powers and takes his memory. taking memories would be killing brain cells, though, which peter could eventually heal from (remembers angela maybe). i'm pretty sure the haitian erased peter's memory though, because the haitian's necklace is gone in the second season, but peter suddenly has one.

i also think it's possible that the haitian erased sylar's powers, or sylar has the virus. since sylar can figure things out, see how they work, however, he somehow subconsciously figures out how to stay alive in spite of having the virus. as he figures the virus out, the virus figures him out...and Sylar is who creates the truly medicine resistant strain.

no that last part was bull but i do think the haitian might have had something to do with sylar's power loss. i mean seriously...lost it because he was stabbed? that's ridiculous.

Haven't you seen the video Hana Gitelman has post in her blog yesterday? I think that video answers it.

i kept forgetting to watch that vid. alexsandra=win. and pretty much that vid went along with what i was thinking. although...i expected peter to be a little more...shaken?...from the explosion. but no...nathan chunks him into the air, catches fire, falls hurtling to the water, and peter, apparently unshaken, has enough time to remember he can fly and saves nathan.

and there's no way in this world i could think that nathan caught peter. the falling guy was on fire, and nathan thought peter was dead. =nathan passing out or something similar.

yeah...somehow she was able to "survive and live" in the cyber world now. i think that's the purpose of her character. now they're using her to release teasers and stuff. but i miss her. she's hot.

Did anyone mention that probably Peter did not need anyone to make him forget? If he ever got close to the Haitian he could make himself forget. And if he thought he killed his brother with his explosion maybe he made himself forget anything because he was too dangerous to remember all the powers. And to scared to remember his deeds. He is just the right guy to pull such a trick off if you ask me.

Just a wild guess, though.

I think every heroes fan needs to watch this video to understand what happened 4 months ago before watching the episode. I think its the the most amazing heroes video EVER!!!!!!!!!!
