Another favorite of mine.

I've been watching this show literally since its first season. Anyone watch (either in the UK or the US/Canada)?

I've never subscribed to the live feed, even though most of the good stuff is not aired, but luckily people on Youtube are nice enough to record some of it.

I'll be honest, I don't like many of the houseguests this season. They're kinda...bland? And maybe a little shallow? I think I might like Eric though. He seems very Dr. Will, and I love Dr. Will

I've never really gotten into the show, I've watched it a few times though..how many seasons has it been? 8?

Yep, this is the 8th season. I don't like how they've over luxurized the house over the past few seasons.

I watch Big brother in Enlgand. Ive watched BB7 n now on the 5th week of BB8. i have also seen the celebrity editions.
Sometimes i wonder why these peopole actually want people to see them sitting on the toilet or eating.

So far i dnt like any of the housemates whatso ever.
There is the girl called Charley, who every1 hates but so far she has escaped nomination.

so all the live audience chants is "Get Charley Out! "

I saw the first few seasons of BB in the UK, but now I try to avoid it like the plague (unless its celebrity BB, which can sometimes be slightly interesting!) I saw the opening night of the new season and the twins instantly annoyed me, therefore I switched off....hehe I can be so fickle!

Loads of people here in Britain love this show but I just don't get it. My sister is addicted
and I really don't see what could be so interesting. Most of the people in there just want
to be famous and are so annoying. I don't know what it's like in other countries but here
it's just full of wannabe's who have nothing about them.

I've been watching it, but I haven't gotten into this season. I think my favorite houseguest of all time was Kaysar.

I just loved how he played the game on a level no one else was on.

What intrigued me about the show is that it was a social experiment. "What would happen if a group of strangers lived in a house together with cameras on them 24/7?" Unfortunately, over the past few seasons, they've over luxurized the house, which I feel has taken a part of the experimental aspect out of it. Boredom and having to compete for luxuries really...

I do see what you mean about the houseguests though. A lot of them seem like they're there for their 15 minutes of fame (most of them went on to become actors or high profile personalities). Although others are also there for the experience, and to win selfishly, or selflessly.



Yeah, me neither, I guess I'm just watching so they'll get a better cast for next season. The cast seems to lack...personality? Either that or the show is doing a terrible job of showing their true colors. Also, most of their game play is really similar -- win a lot of competitions. Boo-ring.

I was never a Kaysar fan (even though he was mighty good looking! phew!). Or a fan of his alliance. I respected them for being straight out good competitors, but there was just something about them that never made me want to root for them. I don't recall Kaysar's game play being on a higher level than anyone else. If that was so, he probably wouldn't have been evicted within the first three weeks on both seasons

The one thing I love about this season though, that I also may not have noticed in other seasons, is the music they play in the background for each houseguest. In particular Dick's rock theme and Jameka's church theme. The cues are perfect

I just got into it in season 8 and I'm lovin season 9. In the summer I think I'm going to get the dvds from the past seasons so I can watch those. I loveeeee this show.

someone told me the first 3 seasons are on dvd so until i actually decide to look it up when im ready to see it, im assuming thats right lol but if not, im sure all the episodes are online somewhere lol

do you watch after dark? i just started watchin it after dark this week.

No, I don't have Showtime I used to watch some of the live feeds that people recorded and put on Youtube though. This season's group is pretty annoying to watch, so I don't even bother.

it is annoying how no one can shut their mouth but then it brings on the drama so its fun although sheila is annoying as hell. on after dark, sharon & matt were makin out and then a lil while later natalie & jacob come in the room and matt leaves and natalie (not knowing sharon & matt made out) was talkin bout how she was makin out with matt. just thought that was interesting. i think matt won pov which is gonna be shown this week. im still figurin out the schedule of what they do and then how they air it cause when i watch after dark spoilers are bound to come out since its live and it airs every night when the real show doesnt but its good

I don't know, I preferred it when secrets would linger for a while and would eventually blow up and create tension.

its enjoyable either way i think....natalie is annoying too now and im glad sharon didnt play into matt's game and i cant wait for sunday and see whos comin back.

Ooohhh, you meant when they actually play the competitions! Well, I have no clue I always they they played a couple of days before it aired.

Yeah, Natalie's really annoying. I'm sooooooo glad they're playing individually now.

But yeah, as much as everyone hates her, I'm definitely voting Allison back in, just because she'd stir things up. And because I think she has the potential to kick some ass I don't understand why she's so hated though, besides the whole lesbian thing (which isn't completely her fault!). Is there something on After Dark that we don't see on the show?

lol they do, i want to know the exact days. i think i figured it out though. cause when i started watching BB After Dark, they would talk about the competitions and im like, wait I didn't see that yet lol so After Dark gives away a lot of stuff and I just have to put together the pieces time wise but I think I got it.

I want Chelsea to go b4 Sharon but either way it doesn't really matter cause they both will be gone before ya know it n e way I think...although it would have been nice to see Natalie up on the block instead.

I voted for and made all my friends vote for Alex since he left only because of stupid Amanda.

And to answer your question. There is 3 hours of live footage you see on After Dark every single night as opposed to an hour of edited footage 3 times a week. All 3 hours are not full of drama every night but it is so much fun to watch. It's live, so you never know what's going to happen.

It took me 3 days to watch Season 6 on youtube lol and now I'm watching season 5 online.

Anyone else watch it? BB9 has been amazing, and I'm really glad Rachel won it! She really did deserve it! I hate how some of the crowd were booing her though, give the girl a break!

When it came down to Rachel and Michael, I couldn't care less. There was never any clear winner. Not even Kat. Out of the final 4, I think I actually wanted Rex to win. Don't get me wrong, he's a nob. I've hated him since a week in but out of all his arrogance, he was a pretty cool guy sometimes and entertaining.

Big Brother (8?) was called the Charley show sometimes for bad reasons but I sometimes felt that BB9 was the Rex show but in a good way.

I don't think Rachel was playing a game. I think she was genuine and deserved to win but only just as much as any of the final three. I leaned more towards Darnell throughout the series but was disappointed at his lack of love for himself.

Also, this year was not a good one for singing.

To sum up BB9, "Cookie Love," "Happy happy how" and "Get off ma dick!"

Yeah, same here. It's weird. Now it's back to absolutely nothing being on on Wednesdays and Sundays. The one good thing about it ending is that Scrubs repeats are now back on E4.

I've had to turn it into console time myself,... soon I'll be a god at Fight Night. Hell I'm one already!
