I really wish Fox would have given Firefly more of a chance. I didn't even find out about the show until it was already off.

I don't even have a favorite episode because they're all completely awesome. I'm sure there's a couple I like a bit less than the others though.

Well, for you information, FOX really messed up Firefly. They placed the episodes out of order. Have you seen Jaynestown? Personal favorite episode

Oh yeah, didn't they play Serenity as the last episode or some crap? And they didn't even play Trash, Heart of Gold or one of the others.
And yes, Jaynestown is good. I think my two favorite episodes are Out of Gas and Objects in Space though.
I love how the characters are just so human. Example, even Jayne, the aggressive kick ass gunslinger couldn't watch the wreaver attacking *cough*Merly*cough* in the movie, and he gets upset about the one man dying for him in Jaynestown. I hate when shows or movies have no character development, or when the characters just seem like they've got no emotion.

I know. Makes me love the show even more. I love Jaynestown for the Book-River interaction. Favorite line:
Zoe: Don't worry River, he's putting the hair away now.
River:It'll still be there..waiting.
It is so crazy insane. I love it. THe show was great, and yeah, FOX had Joss even change the original first episode from Serenity to Train Job. Grr....FOX...

Ah yes, Book's hair. That was hilarious.
"Just keep walking, preacher man."
That's the episode River tries to fix the Bible in, too, right?

Yeah, it is. I liked that too. It was basicly a great series, serious and humorous.

It had every single good quality, and there was no way it could be categorized into just one genre.

Yeah, Out of Gas was cool. I liked Jubal Early from Objects in Space. Loved his rantinggs, and the Alliance, A lion thing.

Ooh, Early was creepy, I really wanted to punch him. But that episode was good.
Early: I only hurt people because they keep getting in the way of me finding you. Tell her.
Simon: What am I? Your advocate?
Early: You are starting now.
Simon: He's really very...gentle...and fuzzy. We're becoming fast friends.
Early: You folks are all insane.
Simon: Well, my sister's a ship. We had a complicated childhood.

He was wierd but I loved how he rambled. It was like, what the freak is he talking about? SAdly, that was the last episode in the season/series.

I'm really pissed we never found out exactly why Book knew so much about the Alliance.

Jaynestown is a favourite for me definately! Lots of Adam and Jayne which is always good. My favourite character is Wash though, so pretty much all of the episodes were great. I was another one who didnt find out about it until way after it had stopped. I was going to meet Adam Baldwin at a convention so I decided to watch the series to see what everyone was talking about. Have since met Nathan Fillion, Alan Tudyk and Summer Glau..... totally loved the movie though!

Loved the series, loved the movie. Gotta admit though, if Fox hadn't taken it off, I doubt it would have such a solid cult following!

I've been tracking news on the Firefly MMO at
fireflymmo.com. There's not been a huge amount of late, but anything that comes up is there.

Well, with Nathan Fillon on Desperate Housewives, for at least this season (and/or after the WGA Strike), I would say that Firefly/Serenity/Browncoats are screwed.

No doubt! been watching Buffy/Angel for years so im not unfamiliar with Joss Whedon.
But i gotta admit that Buffy lost it in the end but for the hardcore Whedon fans, Angel
held it up i think or for me at least.(that epic battle in the last episode?priceless!)
But i cant really say i recommend seeing Buffy the vampire slayer:the movie........

It was great! Ron Glass, Adam Baldwin and Mark Sheppard were there. Adam had some amazing stories about working with Stanly Kubrick.

I thought Buffy got better than it had been in the last series, but Angel definitely kept it together right till the end!! I mean they had a Dragon!!
