As long as they don't have too many new characters. If there's a lot then there will hardly be any screen time for each of them, and that hardly leaves room for character development.

So it's almost like watching the pilot over again with new characters...I hope they don't overwhelm the show.

I don't think they will since most of the reccuring characters and even regulars(like Isaac, Simone) might not be in the show for long.

Some reccuring came only for 2 - 3 episodes (Jackie,Charlie, Sanjog, Chandra Suresh, Nikkis friend, Lindermans mobster that got killed by jessica and more), some guests only for 1 so they can be killed (Zane, Dale, Sylars Mother) and so on....

So I guess we will probably get lots of "cannon fodder" for Kane, the Mobsters and Sylar again.

That is the most likely though with Sylar and HRG they were never supposed to become cast members and they have so I'm worried that they'll introduce all these new characters and they'll end up sticking around for a while

I really love Zachary Quinto and all, but if he somehow just keeps surviving, and they never defeat him, I'm going to be extremely pissed. It just shouldn't work that way.

Yeah Sylar was great for a while but now he either needs to die or redeem himself..

I'm kinda sure that Sylar will be the one that loses his memory and that will be probably the "excuse" why he accepts kane as his mentor.

I would love to see candice make him believe that he is drinking mountain dew while he is drinking poison or similar.
That would be the most hillarious way for a villain like him to die like:

Drinking, "huch??" drops dead with the ? written allover his face while candice and micah are eating chips together enjoying the "show" (at the same moment Nikki and Molly cooking pasta in the kitchen not even caring what happens in the living room). ^^

Anyway.... in a more serious way, I agree with you guys that it gets tiring introducing interesting people like Dale only to let them get killed by sylar the whole time so he can increase his "power tricks". -.-

I really hope that the writers won't get the viewers pissed by redoing this but will rather use sylar in a other way.

I agree, they really need to kill Sylar off for good or move his character in a completely different direction. Brain-stealing gets pretty tedious and annoying. *waits for Sylar fangirlz to attack*

But people like Sylar who want to be high and mighty make me think though...after they've obtained the amount of control they want, then what?

Maybe it's because Sylar is "dead" that he is having illusions or what not either that or Kane or someone is doing that to him

I am pretty sure, well I get the feeling anyway we'll be seeing a different Sylar.

I have to agree though, I hope they don't add heaps of new characters and end up ruining the show. Although they did add Jack Coleman as a regular during Season 1, but can you blame them? His character became such an important part of the show. And well Zachary is amazing, how can you not want him to stick around? lol

Well the thing is that with HRG there was so much available for them to do with his character so the writers took the opportunity but after a while there will be only so much that they can do with Sylar until it gets a bit too redundant

Which is why I think there might be a change with Sylar. He sure looked funny in a hawiian shirt hehehe

8/21 — HeroSite releases information about episode three, including the title, airdate, writer, and director.
8/19 — Tohoru Masamune will appear in the third episode, according to IMDb. Hiro's boss's name? Mr. Egami.
8/14 — IMDb reports that Héctor Luis Bustamante's character is named Garcia, and will be joining the show in the third episode.

My Theory ~

The Claude Rains is working for the main bad guy! He will drag Sylar from the spot that he appeared to be dead (of course no one could see him ) Since he worked for "The Company". Whose to say that he isn't under a bigger influence? What if Kane could see him, and Kane taught him how to teach others to control there Abilities... perhaps so that one day Claude could inform Kane on there powers and whereabouts.

Candice Wilmer (who is alive, come on, she could make anyone see what she wanted, even to look like she was dead) will be working for the main bad guy Kane, who use to control the Linderman Corporation. When you control the Linderman Corp. you also control his employees like Candice.

"In "Landslide" Candice implies that her normal appearance (the one portrayed by Missy Peregrym) is also an illusion when Micah says " I have a cousin who eats like you...he's huge," to which she replies, "So am I." She also lectures him on how others judge by appearance. However, when Niki knocks her unconscious in "How to Stop an Exploding Man" while she is disguised as Jessica, Candice reverts back to her appearance as portrayed by Missy Peregrym."

My Response ~ Candice isnt dead, our she would have changed into the person that she is. Not the girl that she makes everyone think that she is. Even if she was knocked unconscious all her mental ties to her powers should have been broken, thus showing a knocked out Candice (in true body) on the floor ^^

Sylar on a tropical island "So none of this is real?". Sylar may believe that he is in heaven, but he is not. Candice is possibility putting him threw mind games. She said she could show you things that would make you ripe your eyes out. Why not show the recently lost memory Sylar all the past things that he has done. Do a few fake head coming off scenes (Candice playing sylar) .. It would totally mess him up, and he could see the person that he was, and want to be someone better.... Road to redemption much? AND why does the girl in front of him look alot like the back of Claire's head? (Shipper moment!) What if it was claire? In a since... Showing a newely lost memory sylar a vision of claire could put thoughts into his mind. Who is this Claire, what does she know about him, and what part of his life she did play? (Darn my love for that couple is putting bad thoughts in my head!)

Kane will be able to control bugs. What do bugs do... they spy on things right? A person that could control something as small as a nat could see were anyone was, at anytime he wanted. The references to the Cockroach is in relation to an infestation of the Heroes lives. Although I don't know what role he will play, I dont believe that he is the person that Molly is reffering to. I think Kane himself will also work for a higher up, whose powers are far greater then any... He can bring back the dead.... He could have brought back Sylar at the Company... that cock roach was there? Could it have been reporting what was happening to Sylar? Could it have told someone that Sylar needed strength to break out of the Company...so many questions... no answers till the show comes back.

Will those are my thoughts about Sylar and the characters that could be revolved around him.

Hmm...I had never thought about the cockroaches "spying" on Sylar, that's very possible.

i am panicing. I just went to IMDB, and it only lists Sylar as being in Four Months Later episode so far.

Haven't they already filmed like 4-5 episodes????

Maybe we will see a glimpse of him at the end of episode 2. In episode 3 he is supposedly going to kill Candice and lose his abilities. Wonder how he gets passed her illusions... Well Nikki did it so it probably won't be that hard for Sylar.

Nah, the mystery of his name is cooler. Wouldn't take him seriously if he had some ordinary name rather then 'The Haitian'.

I really like The Haitian he has so much mystery surrounding him. To be honest I'd rather not find out his name because it ruin the secrecy of him.
Where when HRG’s name was revealed I was so excited because I’d been waiting all year to find out what it was. Where as with The Haitian I’d rather not know.

Maybe Sylar can only use one power at a time, thus he takes hers and can't go back into reality and is stuck with hers (unstable.) Just a thought.

oh that would sucks...but then Sylar only even need 1 ability. Telekinesis

But then nope....cuz in 5 years gone, he used more than 1 power at a time (he flies when he's using Candice's power to be Nathan)

I always thought the cockroach "watching" Sylar was important/odd/interesting but could never make a connection to anything. Will be interesting to see if someone can control bugs...

The cockroach is a symbol of survival, especially in desperate times. Mohinder also calls cockroaches the "pinnacle of so-called evolution" in the very first episode, being ahead of humans in that respect. That Sylar survives that fight at Kirby Plaza is appropriately represented both by the cockroach's symbolism as well as how Mohinder described the insect in class.

The only thing I am looking forward to in this episode is seeing Sylar return.

I really hope they don't kill candice and if they do then please don't let sylar do it cause actually it was spoiled before that he already lost all of his additional powers when he died at the end of the last episode in season one so it wouldn't make any sense to have them all back without getting them from others again only so he can be able to kill candice that is just standing there playing sitting duck. -.-

I guess now we'll find out who's going to resurrect Sylar.
