Have you ever listened to a song and have to do a double take because you weren't sure whether you heard right or not and then find out that what you heard was the total misconstrued opposite of what was actually said? Post it here!

"Over You" by Daughtry

Actual Lyric "I'm finally getting better"

Heard Lyric "I'm finally good in bed"

There's a few parts in Temperature by Sean Paul. One, it sounds like he says something about a fart.
What he actually says is "Five million and forty naughty shorty..."

Yeah...

Are there are loads of these sort of things about!

There was the KT Tunstall song - Sundenly I see, where in the chorus she is singing 'Suddenly I see', it sounds more like 'lea-on-sea'

And there is the classic Police song, where Sting is singing 'So lonely' but it sounds more like 'Sue Lawley'
I'm sure though that you notice these things more when you are either half asleep or so drunk you start laughing about them hehe

http://kissthisguy.com/lyric.php?id=3208I found this funny site because I was looking up lyrics to a Marilyn Manson song. Well at the time I didn't know it was Marilyn Manson, which was why I was looking it up. There were actually guys at the skating rink (where I heard the song) singing these misheard lyrics. laugh.gif
The real lyrics were:
The beautiful people, the beautiful people

But I misheard them as:
Just gimme the meatball, Just gimme the meatball

It's not a big difference but in Timbaland's "The Way I Are" it goes:

"I don't need the G's or the car keys/Boy I like you just the way you are"

I heard:

"I don't need the cheese or the car keys..."
Jerub-baal
This...whole...song but once you get the lyrics, they are quiet true, stirring and beautiful.

"Dynamite blast of the force of war
Government rides on the weak and poor
Don't want to see my brother in pain no more
When the little man fights all the big man's war"

The conscience of the public can not be put to sleep.

Rage Against the Machine : Bombtrack

Just after the first Chorus:

Actual Lyrics:

"The Bombtrack started as a sketch of my notebook"

Heard Lyrics:

"The Bombtrack started as a sketch of my noople*"

*Definition of noople: How me and my friends sometimes say the word "Nipple"

God I laughed so hard when I heard it.

Three words: Fall Out Boy.

BWAHAHA yeahh, like in This Ain't A Scene, It's An Arms Race, , it sounds like they are talking about cake and being into cats and also evil. Fall Out Boy's realy lyrics are all really cool though.

"oh so into cats. oh so into cats" - thats the actual line from this aint a scene, innit?

"out on the winding moors , sweet roland fell in brie" - kate bush - wuthering heights. classic
