I was just watching the news about Comic Con today, and I witnessed it, the announcement from the man himself, in PERSON!
Zachary Quinto has signed on with J.J. Abrams to play YOUNG Spock in the NEW Star Trek Movie!
There are no links yet, but I assure you that this is TRUE! HE SAID IT LOUD AND CLEAR!

Ahh those pics are so cute!
I read somewhere that there would be a role for Shatner, but that they haven't found a young Kirk yet!

I'm glad he got it. I really can't imagine any other actor who
would fit the bill better then Zach. He was made for this role.

I saw somewhere that said Leonard Nimoy was reprising Spock

Does that mean he'll play an older Spock?

Maybe they travel through dimensions and Leonard Nimoy is in one of them..

The movie is going to be like a "LOST" episode... With Leonard Nemoy being OLD Spock, and Zachary Quinto being Young Spock!
See! That is the key thing for right now, although things can change!

Yeah, the whole premise of the movie is to show us what was going on during the time Spock and Kirk spent in "The Academy!"
If you know anything about Star Trek, or are a RABID Trekky, then you will know that they have mentioned "The Academy" many, many countless times! And we are finally going to be enlightened... on what life was like for them during "The Academy"

I loved his reaction when he was told that he had a loyal fan base

I have to admit I didn't really understand when they got into the whole Vulcan thing but cool interview

(except for him possibly having to lose his eyebrows, that would be weird)

Everyone on this BOARD MUST go out and RENT "Star Trek: The Wrath of Khan"
^That is perhaps the BEST Star Trek Film EVER MADE!
OR, you can download it, via BitTorrent. HERE:

Boo..never download movies, for some reason I think that's worse than downloading shows (probably cause you can watch shows for free via the telly)
I did hear that that was the best Star Trek film though..if I ever feel the urge to recruit myself into the Trekkie ranks, I'll make sure to go out and rent that
can't wait to see his spock impression
