Richard Roundtree is int it too! nHe plays Charles Deveaux in HEROES! And he was/is the original "Shaft" from the 70's!
John Goodman is in it as well! He is a GREAT actor, and a Funny Man!

Ooh there's a bit about this in my Sci Fi channel magazine... Christina Ricci, Emile Hirsch and Susan Sarandon are also going to be in it.

I think I watched the show a bit but I don't really remember it. I remember they had a spoof of it on Fairly Oddparents where the people were talking really fast and kept going "Ah! Ooh! Ah!" And I'm falling down laughing imagining Christina Ricci doing that

I'm so pleased they're making a Speed Racer movie - isn't it being done by the guys behind The Matrix? And I think Matthew Fox is playing the villain...
Should be great - reminds me on the cartoon from my childhood - happy memories!

Im pretty excited about the Speed Racer movie. Grow up watching the cartoon as a kid. very excited to start hearing casting rumors and stuff
