He can fly and he carries her to the Hollywood sign? Reminds me of when Clark proposed to Lana in episode 100 of Smallville...and by the way that is incredibly romantic

I'm just worried that Claire's Season 2 storyline with her in sunny California with a boyfriend and new cheerleaders is going to make it seem like a superpowered version of Laguna Beach. Then again, I might be having doubts only because I'm a guy who isn't exactly thrilled that I'm going to be seeing Claire making out with this guy for who knows how long in Season 2 (and possibly beyond)

If Heroes ever become like a superpowered version of Laguna Beach, I will riot in the streets.
Hopefully Claire's new quiet life will be shaken up again. It'd just be boring with her completely happy all the time (even though she does deserve some peace now, but this is 4 months later so she's had enough peace I think).

Ok so how can her boyfriend fly as well I mean I figured we would see some double powers later in the show. I thought it would be later in the series and at least have duplicate powers of one that we havent already seen. Plus genetically arent they connected then her boyfriend and Nathan could be.... oh no RELATED? lol Hope not least for Claire's sake shes already had heartbreak w/ Peter being her uncle.

I can't see the writers ever giving Claire peace for too long, they love to have plots that chaotically screw up her life

well i'm glad they gave Claire's bf a throwaway power rather than waste something kick-ass on him, because lets face it, all he's gonna do is hang around, make out with her and piss off Noah (at least i hope so). Because what can you really do with flight (besides fly a human bomb into the stratosphere)? If they gave him something like electrokinesis and then never gave him a chance to do something cool with it, THEN i'd be pissed.

Yeah, she's been through a lot, she's needs someone to make her feel like a teenager again. Hmm...I'm thinking her attraction to him will come from not only him being a reminder of Zach, but maybe there will be some Nathan-like qualities in him as well (besides being able to fly)?

ooh I like that it fits in quite nicely with the 8th painting. I thought he was a bit dodgy ever since we first saw him. It was almost as if he knew claire had powers before he saw her cut off her toe. He was watching her in the gym when she was about to jump from the high board thing. Maybe waiting for her to break a bone and regenerate so he could 'accidently' discover her power.
Do you think he may be lying about 'The man in the horn rimmed glasses'? The family have only just moved to the town he supposedly resides in. Doesnt make sense for noah to have traveled all that way for a random teenager. If indeed he did surley noah would have had the foresight not to move to a town he may be recognised in? Actually, the guy who plays West is 27...thats only three years younger than Zachary and Milo.
I will admit, he is cute, but I find he is an odd character, he was almost stalking Claire and he was quite mean to her in the process of making her admit that she is different. He is sort of creepy, or at least he was when he was watching Claire through the windows, I am sure that will all change now that they know about each others abilities...or then again maybe not...as he will probably want to keep an eye on Noah.

Remember West said he was living in St Louis when he was kidnapped? I think Noah would remember who he kidnapped although it was 10 years ago. But it would seem terribly cliche when they meet cos of course they were bound to meet up someday, right? Noah's pretty sneaky.
I hope it's actually another horn-rimmed glasses guy. They can't only have one agent going around the country bagging and tagging special people right. Oh wait wait wait!! Does anyone remember when exactly West said he was kidnapped? Cos I remember in the episode "5 Years Ago" Noah was just introduced to Claude and all those dodgy things they did, right? So if West was kidnapped 10 years ago then it wouldn't be Noah! It would be some other creepy dude and Haitian wouldn't have been responsible for being a sloppy memory-wiper.

The episode you're referring to is ''Company Man'' when Bennet is introduced to Claude in a flashback. It wasn't mentionned when that encounter happened, but we could see that Claude was there when Noah was given custody of Claire, so their meeting and Bennet's recrutement in the Company happenned more then ten years ago (more like 15 years). I think you mixed the titles ''Six Months Ago'' and ''Five Years Gone''.
I'm not much into Claire and West's story but I'm sure their relationship will have an outcome on the present season.
West killing Noah? Maybe. But I think the person holding Claire in the 8th painting is Sylar. Look at the way Isaac painted Sylar last season, I think it looks a lot like the character in Noah's painting...
Anyway, gotta go, I am currently on the job and the boss is near!...

West definitely works for 'the company' the whole thing between him and Claire is a setup and i reckon and is there to trap HRG.
Its just too spooky that he tried to run Claire over and then just followed her around everywhere.
How did he know about the book, i doubt if its in every library/university in the USA?
And then the Painting could that be Claire with West when HRG gets it?

My theory alone would be that he is using Claire to get to her dad. If hes for really he's a very corny, very boring character who should sacrifice himself to Sylar as soon as possible. Least then Sylar can learn to fly without killing Nathan, and the show can continue without West's boring character.
