Their music makes me want to write things. Random things. It's like they play word games to think up the lyrics they use; they're mental. Never has a thesaurus seen so much action in a recording studio.

I've only heard Televators by them, but it's pretty cool. I get what you mean about it making you want to write.

Yeah,
The Widow is pretty good. Like most of my musicks, they are an accquired taste, ya know? But I like them.

Televators is an awesome song. Roulette Dares is one of my favourites.
You're right about the acquired taste, Jerub. It took me a few lessons to actually "get" the music, but I've been a fan ever since.

My brother has He had a song playing on his ipod from them in the car one day....He is not too fond of them so I ask him why did you put them on your ipod than? I forgot what his answer was and what song it was it was two months ago.

yeah, I like The Mars Volta quite a bit. But I've only really listened to their Deloused album.

ATDI > Mars Volta = Sparta
Sadly ATDI had to split, they were really wonderful when I began listening to them, only to realise they're currently Mars Volta and Sparta. Both are really wonderful bands.

relationship of command is the beast.....what an album - sorta prefer atd-i to mars volta - less prog rockery....saw atd-i in belfast once, i swear omar was running up the walls while still playing the guitar....classic....vaya & in/casino/out are both great as well......

Yeah ive listened to them ever since they released De-Loused, which is probbally my favorite album by them. I like At The Drive In as well but not as much as TMV.
