Anybody know when Heroes season 2 and PrisonBreak season 3 will be starting in Austraia? The TV ads say it'll be on at the same time as America, but that means they'd air on a friday night, which I don't see happening.
So my theory is that it'll be on the week after people in America get it. But then, that's false advertising right? :-/

I'm not sure exactly when it will air for those of you in Australia but we will ave downloads available if the wait is too long

I got no idea, they might even still air it on Wednesdays like they did before, maybe only a day later then the US, but my guess is it might be a week later.

Works well with me anyway, bcoz i work at nights and only get the chance to watch Heroes online on Tuesday evenings (US Monday night)...lucky!

But they can't show it at 9:30! That's when PrisonBreak is on. And they can't show it at 8:30 unless the decide to stop showing Las Vegas a few episodes before the end of the season. :/

Hi guys! I'm from Aus and just watched the first season over 2 days and i fell in love with it again!

On the topic of Ch7.. I wouldn't be so fast to bag them out. Honestly think about how long we usually have to wait for a show to start here in Aus. Usually we'd get the first episode just as the US is almost finishing! I think they should be applauded for actually realising that we can pop online and download it straight away, so theyre trying to appeal to the audience the best way they can!

So we have to wait a week after the US? Just be thankful its not 5 months! Ahaha.

Cannot wait for it to start here! I've tried avoiding all spoilers but what the hell!? I know i'll be coming here more often to get my Heroes fix and talk to some Heroes fans!

WWE Raw is on Fox8 a day after it is recorded in the US

i dont understand why Heroes needs to be shown nearly 2 weeks after it is aired overseas..
I will watch episode 2 next tuesday without the commercial breaks, while you still have to wait an extra 2 days to catch the season premiere, and watch ads every 5 minutes....

I'm in Australia and you have to remember that only channel Seven has that fast track program , 1 week later for prison break as compared to US, channel Ten which is airing Heroes doesn't have that program, but I've been watching it online so blah XD

I don't even bother following shows on TV anymore, they might be fast tracking it compared to normal, but I still wont watch it on TV. Seems to be the trend with channel 7 and channel 10 now. But still its easier to dl and see it when you want.

The only time i watch free-to-air tv is when the footy is on CH9

Otherwise, its always Foxtel and Internet

I know when I heard we were getting it the same time as America I was so happy but than I found out it didnt come back until October 4th, I was so dissapointed. Luckily I had Prison Break come back a week earlier than Heroes; so I had something to help me through it.

I agree stella...fast track who are they trying to kid. Are they waiting next to the post box for a video cassette to arrive?....I don't think so. I can't stand the ads during the higher profile shows, like season 1 was 3minutes of show and then 6minutes of ads...that sucks.

yep... I can't say I have paid attention to any of the ads (otherwise I would have known they were fastracking Heroes), but fasttraking isn't ASAP... that is Aussie tv and is it any wonder people resort to downloading! Even House isn't on that quickly after it has aired in the US because ch10 want to keep it to it's Wed night timeslot. Like others have posted, there is very little I watch first on the tv these days

I also agree, channel 10 is fast tracking also and they are getting it at the same time as america.

Yeah they wanted to try and catch up to the states because everyboby was just downloading it instead of watching it on channel seven, the ratings probably could have been better for them.

thats this Thursday...but we would have watched Episode TWO, today, while everyone else needs to wait another 2 days to watch the Pilot!

give Ch7 shit ratings so they can either catch up with the US, or scrap it for a Foxtel channel!

shows like Lost and Heroes I still tend to watch on the tv so I'm less likely to mention spoilers when discussing it with others in the real world, LOL. But yeah... if they are really going to try and usurp downloading they need to get it on within at least two days, preferably just one day of it airing in the states. I'd still download though... better visually to watch back for anything in the background etc

Hey people The name is Luke and I Live In New South Wales on the central coast. How has everyone been doing. Heroes in aus starts this week, but i know all of us couldnt wait that long.

Yup good on channel 7, whilst its great that they have cought up some what to the states in airing the show its sucks that they put it on at that time. I work night shift and have no chance of seeing it.

Everyone is prob thinking why are they putting it on at 9:30. Dont worry its going to go back to its orginal time soon enough. Channel 7 really pushed to get heroes as early as they can but at the same time they cant have it interfereing with their prime time shows. But a added bonus I noticed when I've watch it on channel 7 so much of it gets censored. The battle with peter and sylar, when sylar is slicing peters head its gets cut out.

Does fast track means something different to tv execs?
I noticed that last season, in the scene where Sylar slices the head of the other cheerleader, we get to see it in all of its gory detail but on Channel 7, this scene was re-edited to leave out the gory stuff. Thank goodness I got to see the original version and not the edited one from C7!

This is why I love this site so much. In Australia we have evil add filled TV in which the "fast track" is just plain BS, it's times like that where I'm think, "I'm glad I'm a member of the Got heroes community".
