I honestly can't say that I remember him dead in the last episode...is he REALLY dead? Maybe I liked him too much and thought to myself "He's alive...just really weak."
Can someone verify this so I'm not too confused...

Last we saw of DL he was in pretty bad shape, he wasn't dead or alive but he was really badly wounded and he had been up and about with a gunshot wound. So we won't know exactly what happened to DL until the new season starts

We will find out what happened to him Monday probably. Nikki is going to be in that episode. Either that or there gonna leave us wondering until episode 8 where we see what happened in the 4 months between season 1 and 2.

I can't say for sure, but I think it was mentioned in one of the graphic novels on nbc.com that he was recovering.

About Matt... Maybe he's more resistant than DL, and he was "shot" waaaaay later, so the ambulance got him faster. And I don't know if Sylar threw the bullets at him at the same speed as they were before *when they were shot*
