Thought Downey Jnr would have been a bad choice as Stark, but it looks ok. Link below,

I don't feel I have to see this, but I will if the opportunity arises (friends asking me, which is doubtful). Pretty impressive cast they have there though.
Funny enough, the son of one of my mom's old co-workers is an assistant to somebody working on the movie. I think at one time he was credited as a writer or director, but I guess that information was incorrect.

I saw this last week, I think it's looks fun. Marvel usually (I said usually!) does a good job on their comic-to-movie transitions.

I'll probly end up going to see it, but the whole building the suit while being held captive by terrorists seems kinda silly to me. They did pull off the animation though, looks great flying.

Personally, I think he is an excellent choice for Iron Man. The trailer makes it seem really great, and i am looking foward to seeing Iron Man in action. The trailer got me extremely excited.

As a HUGE fan of Iron Man I'm really hyped about this movie. The cast is truly impressive and if they can get the story done it's gonna be awesome.

I didn't really have my hopes up for this one, but it looks awesome. I think Robert Downey really looks a lot like the Tony Stark.

I second that, its the brashness of the hero, plus him firing that missile and turning his back,.. awesome!!!!

I've never been a fan of Iron Man, but RDJ was GENIUS casting. He's a cocky, full-of-himself, boozing playboy. He IS Tony Stark. The trailer looks stunning, I can't wait for this movie.

Many people say better than Spiderman, and on most counts the may be right. This movie takes a more direct approach, focusing less on character building and more on thrills.
The story is tight and consistent with previous incarnations of Iron Man on other formats. Which I'm pretty sure will keep the comic gurus happy.
Overall, a good movie. Got right something maybe Spiderman got wrong, your making a superhero movie not a love story. This movie gets the balance just right between action scenes and drama scenes.
Its obvious,.. that an audience loves a hero, and maybe a superhero more so. Thing is everyone knows that the superhero format has become pretty massive in the last 2 decades and maybe even longer if you include Superman.
Now from what I'm aware, Marvel have done this in house under Marvel Studios. Then I got thinking as to why Marvel have done this. The obvious reason everyone will think is money, its a massive franchise just waiting to be tapped into. But maybe Marvel have just got fed up of their work being panned at times and want full creative control.
That leaves another question, will Marvel let other studios use their material, and if they do its going to be for less of the pie.

There are a few telesyncs out, decent quality. It's definitely better than all of the Spider-man movies, and I'd tie it with Batman Begins. The Dark Knight is supposed to come out soon, though it'll be hard to beat Iron Man

I still have a hunch that Dark Knight will be better, but one thing for sure is that its easily one of the best superhero movies around. Only movie I can think of thats as good as Iron Man is probably Hellboy.
But everyone should see this movie, its excitment from start to end

Since I saw that movie, I have to say, I really like Iron man. Never read the comics, but I absolutely like the idea of someone who is a super hero without having any abilities or powers. That's cool.
The effects were great, kinda reminded me of Transformers, think it's because ILM was involved

And Robert Downey jr. is an excellent actor, he absolutely fits in the role of the rich a**hole having everything and nothing, wasting his life and then changing, but not into this shining white knight, still having his ego and bad sides too
