Such a good episode but I hope Peter gets his memory back soon! I guess we'll have to wait until next week to find out what happened with Niki, D.L., and Micah. And I guess we won't be finding out who the father is of Janice's baby.

Also I forgot to mention, WTF was up with Nathan's reflection?!?!?!?!

I, too, thought it was very good. Milo looked fantastic in that whole 3 minutes of air time.

And oh my God, the Bennet (or should I say Butler) dinner was hilarious for some reason.

His Reflection was messed i loved it!!!!

One of my theories is that... Niki's sister had the dopledanger power, Niki had super strength. When her sister was killed she hoped into Niki's body. Peter now has that power from being near her (as he also displayed super strength). When peter died in the explosion he hoped into Nathans body, and some other power forced him to take over some body in Ireland or something. Also makes sense because in the secretly recorded convention thing it showed nathan staring in a mirror and screaming peter and smashing it or something.

I have a feeling that who are "They" is going to be the big question of this season.

Well all I can imagine is someone young (by the way he was dressed and how agile he seemed to be) and probably male (though with Heroes who knows -- it could be Elle!)



After hearing that they're both living with Molly I figured someone would come up with that sooner or later!

I think it's something like that. He looked all mutated. I think somehow the explosion kind of fused Peter and Nathan, making Nathan the "Niki" and Peter the "Jessica." All of this somehow sent Peter's body into Ireland with no idea who he is, because Peter's mind left his body and become part of Nathan.

I'm very interested to find out who's watching Molly. This person is supposed to be the new villain and even worse than Sylar. This should be a great season.

I was thinking that. Maybe when he exploded some of his other powers activated. When he exploded he used the regenerating to heal, he accidentally teleported himself to Ireland and possibly since he was in the presence of the Haitian in "Unexpected", he possibly had the memory removal and when he exploded it reversed on himself.

I too loved the episode Maya the poor girl her power is very deadly and she cant control it.
West seems to have the same power as Nathan I think this is a first for the show two people with the exact same power.

I think the necklace will end up having something to do with the same group that just killed Kaito, just like that picture of him had that marked on it in what appeared to be blood.

As for the reflection, very good point.

Wow! I was rushing home from picking up some to go too see this episode, and they brought the heat it was amazing. I think this season will top last season!

Tim Kring (Kringy-bouy!) said in EW that they would address concerns about "running out of different superpowers" head on, ie. repeating powers as a way of developing the mythology of the genesis of hero...dom...ness.

Yeah well makes sence I dont mind at all if they start reusing powers for other characters two people are bound to get the same power eventually if this is the way that humans are evolving.

So sorry people, I'm obsessed with this show just like everyone else, but this episode was kind of boring, I liked dysfunctional Nathan bumping into Ando and not saying a thing and I thought it was interesting when Angela and Kaito had their meeting. And yes, the dinner at the Bennett's home was
very amusing. I also enjoyed the fact that H.R.G. works at paper kingdom. It was kinda sad but I like how he straightened out the manager. I give thus episode a C at best. I miss sexy ass NIkki.

Sandra Bennet is IMO the best non hero non regular character she was so funny in the dinner scene lol.

Juts finished watching and it feels good to be back on this website.

After such a long wait I was kinda disappointed...(they couldn't do a 2 hour special premire???????) come on...but then again...the this show and the cliff hangers usually do that to me...at first.
Sulu knew the guy who pushed him before he uncovered...hmmmm...guess there's 8 now huh...lol.

Yeah I agree that the ending was a lot better than the beginning. I really hope the Hiro storyline picks up because his scenes were kind of boring.

I loved this episode. I like how they seem to be exploring past generations of people who have had powers, like Hiro's father and Nathan and Peter's parents. I think that's going to be really interesting.

I'm just really excited about the rest of the season based on this first episode.

I really enjoyed the episode!! My eyes were glued to the screen while it was on, taking in everything, enjoying it to the fullest extent, yet when it was over, I was slightly disappointed. Like I wanted more, I missed Niki, DL, and the old Peter, and that Claire, Maya, and Hiro's storylines were slightly too dragged out or something. Plus, I felt like I was missing 4 awesome months... lol.

But then I thought more about all of the awesome stuff that happened in the episode, and I downloaded it from this site, and I realized that it was perfect. One of my friends who had only seen the 4th episode but thougt Heroes was weird and decided not to watch it took my advice to watch the season 2 premiere - and she got hooked! Anyway, dying to see some real Sylar scenes, a little more from Mohinder, especially if he's one of Molly's guardians now, more Matt, and more Ando, I just LOVe him. And of COURSE more Nathan, Peter, and Angela...

Hey, I just thought of Something, The hatian can Take away people memories, also, Peter's got amnisia, I'm not quite done yet, The hatian Had the same necklace that Peter has on Now.

I love how the writers tell more of a story. This episode had to say so much and yet reveal so little. I don't think they could have done a better job considering. Not a huge amount happened but it wonderfully planted the seeds into where this season is heading. It got me very excited at least. And I love the speculation its generated in and amongst the fandom.

I sense friction and a change of heart between the trio of Suresh/Parkman/Bennet.

If the company can indeed fund Suresh's research and the "heroes" are infected with the virus that will eventually kill them, I think Bennet can put his dreams of destroying the company on hold for a while.

unless of course the virus was just a mere decoy... Molly and his Shanti are just isolated cases with no infection.. after all... why isnt Matt infected since he's with Molly all the time and the two times when she was still infected (when he first saved her + at the Company's lab)

I think this would have to be one of my favorite episodes so far. I really liked the final scene with Peter, and the scenes with Hiro were all great.

Does Maya necessarily blind the dead ones? I just know that when she's around, people end up dying and somehow, his brother/twin could have prevented it.

Worth the wait but more interested in what happens to peter.

I thought the first half of it was kinda boring. The ending more than made up for it though

certainly looking forward on Maya's ability. scary shty there, something like horror movie rip... and the guy who could turn the spoon into gold, thats one very useful ability. and yeah, im waiting for Sylar to make a full appearance!

Maya's ability is awesome some kinda virus or something. I'm more interested what will happen to Hiro and Kensei.

full of surprises (i never expected the Kensei to be a english man.. lol!)..

and full of mysteries, unanswered questions... haha.. but that's what makes Heroes interesting. xD

just have to wait and see the following episodes.. can't wait!

I really enjoyed the season premiere.
I already like Kensei, he was great. Sort of a blonde Jack Sparrow, the way he spoke to the sword smith’s daughter and the way he was so out of it was very Jack Sparrow like, which isn’t a bad thing.
The last two minutes of the episode were exciting and I dunno I just knew that Peter would be in the crate (just like I knew he wouldn’t show up the last final moments).
Though I was sad to see Hiro’s daddy bite the big one, he was really growing on me but it created an interesting mystery for the rest of season. It seems someone is picking off the older Heroes one by one.

I'm sure the Hiro storyline will pick up as soon as he gets his hands on his/Kensei's sword and starts kicking ass!

Great ending with Peter in the crate - yet another great cliffhanger from the writers!

At least now we know that Peter n Nathan didnt die frm the xplosion..Yay...i really like Nathan...dont u??

sad that Hiro's father is already dead in the first episode..so next target?? Peter's mom?? ermmm...

By the next episode probably. Unless she has some insane power that we do not know about.

Trapping Hiro in the past is going to be a long slow story, even if his new side kick is Sark. Bring them both to the present now!

I hope there is an episode later in the season called "four months ago" so they can explain so much of what this first episode was missing.

I think I expected too much from this episode, however it was a good season opener.

Can't wait for the 4-month recap episode though.

Yea, the recap episodes always seem to be really well done. Remind you of just enough info to make the relevance of things apparent.

I liked the episode, but did not think it was that great. It was a little bit too disjointed -- it seemed like some things were getting done just to get done. That being said, I'm still excited to watch what will conspire next...

Also, I felt that the Peter amnesia thing was a little too much. It seemed a bit cliche.

I ABSOLUTLEY loved this episode, i am so glad that peter is alive, claire also has a new potential boyfriend and hiro has met his hero, but he isnt all what it seems (to tell you the truth i think hero is kensai.

So to wrap it up i just think that episode was amazing and i cant wait for future episodes.

Only thing I didnt like was the englishman
