Punch during Mohinder's opening monologue?

I watched the episode 3 times last night, thanks to digital cable timeshifting, but couldn't get a good enough look each time.

The only fact I know for sure:
The man was wearing a suit, had grey hair, and seemed to have facial hair.

All those signs point to Linderman, and at this point all the clips were showing things that had happened after the explosion...

So, does anyone have screen caps or SOMETHING to let me get my mind off this topic?

That has to be Linderman, he had a beard, plus it just looks like Linderman. The tone of the hair and all. Chandra Shuresh had a goatee.

It looks like linderman but how could he have survived? I think that he brough himself back from the dead. He seemed to be able to rvive a plant in series 1 so maybe he could bring himself back.
And maybe when he kills off the 9 he brings them back again. Maybe he is just removing them from the public by killing them, but then reviving them. Maybe its all planned bettween the 9?

The last cap sure looks like Linderman. But when I watched it again, I thought the guy looked too fat around the neck. And not all of the flashes were of the missing 4 months.

Holy sh1t this is the guy who promised to protect Claire and bring the Company down, yet he's actually with the company?

wtf? WE ALL KNOW it's Noah..We are trying to figure out the other guy. We all watched Season one lol and know Noah's whole story...

When did this happened?
It seems to be mr. Linderman but the question is now when did this happen. It should be somewhere between Noah Matt and Ted running from the company and going to NY to before the explosion.
If it were to be Mr. Linderman. It seems to be him but hes supposed to be dead and mr. Linderman cant revive the dead only heal others wounds and maybe of himself but never revive.
In the graphic novel we saw him healing this soldier while mr. Linderman tortured the guy to almost death.
Although I could be wrong.

It does look a bit like Linderman, but the idea that that man also looks a bit "heavier set" does sink in as well...

Who knows who it is, or if we'll even find out.

As far as we know...There's no one in the Company who can clone people, right?

looks like suresh IMHO (maybe behind the company? hmmmmm)--would make sense, he "discovered" the whole thing...people want to silence him...so the general public doesnt find out.

It's not Linderman. Malcolm MacDowell has a rather recognizable nose. That isn't his nose. It's someone else. I'm sure they edited it in a way that would get people talking, but it's not Linderman.

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that's NOT Linderman, seeing as Linderman's BRAIN was crushed... which is where the abilities of our heroes resides... without a brain, they can't use their powers.... hence the threat of Sylar.

Could just be a random clip of him punching a random guy to indicate that he's still going about punching random people that get in his way. Just a theory...

Strange cause all the other scenes belonged to the first season episodes.

Well we may just have to stay tuned and see what happens in later episodes, obvioulsy Bennets still wanting to take the company down

You remember that bus driver? Yeah. After Hiro remembered he didn't need buses and teleported away, Mr Bennett basically went into "Shaft" mode and laid down punishment on Stan Lee for creating the genre and sentencing his daughter to a life of pain.

I don't think it's linderman, shape of his head is not right, and he is to white to be mohinders dad, I think he is someone form the company and we will find out more later

It's definitely not Linderman. It actually looks more like the man with the midas touch, only with a beard!

that has got to be linderman, i mean look at the beard and just the general (old man) resemblance to linderman. besides, i'm sure after being killed once anyone would look kinda flabby lipped.

I totally missed seeing this and I don't remember the busdriver. I can see Suresh and Lindeman in the shots though, which doesn't help (I seem to naturally have fence-sitting abilities...)

Linderman would be my first guess - maybe his brain healed itself ? Suresh is a good possibility though, that second shot above does look like him...

I agree, it really really looks like Linderman. Maybe it's a flashback? Maybe it's Sylar shape shifted to look like Linderman? Many possibilities, but looks like another interesting plot twist.
