seems like she's seeing maya in her nightmares. The shapes of blood on the eyes of maya's victims look like the drawings she made.

I think it also might be partly due to the fact that Matt kind of treats her more like a little sister than a daughter. So she talks back to him. I don't remember her being particularly lippy with Mohinder? (I need to go rewatch How to Stop an Exploding Man) but Mohinder treats her differently than Matt does.
She was kinda acting a bit like a brat really, I mean she was talking back to Matt (though in a jokey way at first) when he and Mohinder took her under their wing and look after her, they didn't need to do that. She ought to remember that.

Maybe Molly doesn't feel as attached to Matt because he wanted to kill her originally. It was Mohinder that was with Molly when she was with the company and she befriended him then, but I think there is still some way to go with Matt because of his prejudice early on.

Oct 1 2007, 11:47 AM
That's a pretty poor theory because Matt knew Molly and saved her far before he wanted to kill her, plus she never saw him bursting in the room as she was under the bed. Anyway.....I think Molly's outburst is purely to show that she is having a mental problem...Maya she's dreaming about? But she keeps saying 'he' and I'm not sure it's the black oil substance underneath the eyes....

HRG is the one that wanted to kill her originally.......Matt saved her when he found her, he protected her at the CBI (California Beau of Investigations-still FBI, it's just a brench) HQ, and he kept HRG from shooting her.

Yes, but didn't it go something like: Matt wanted to kill the walker system and he was told it was a person (i think) but it was only when he realised it was a little girl that he changed his mind and stopped HRG. Perhaps Molly found out about that, so still have mixed feeling about Matt??

Not really, if you had a young daughter drawing twisted pictures would not make you wonder what was going though her head? the teacher obviously thinks Molly needs 'help'

Well, any good teacher would report to the parent about drawings like that....IIRC they had blood on them? And clearly looked bad/evil. (However you want to say it). And im sure the teacher knows that shes not his real daughter so the good parenting thing was brought up.
And on the who "lippy"thing, i believe its the fact she is intelligent and is kind of showing off to matt. (Saying she wont talk if he doesnt) Possibly playful?

Oh how I love this little domestic scene already

I have to say, well done to the actress (can't remember the name) as mostly child actors are incredibly annoying (absolutely no reference to Dakota Fanning at all. Honest.) but she really does pull it off. The only bit that ground on me slightly was her seeming over-reaction at the end of the pizza scene, but that I guess just emphasises how the character feels at the point, I dunno...

The boogeyman is Sylar, trust me, rewatch the last couple of series one episodes.
As for the one "he's worse than the boogeyman" would it be silly to think that he's the one who killed Kaito Nakamura or are we likely to be in for two completely separate new villains?

She kept saying that Matt was her Hero in Ep. 23. I highly doubt she would change her mind all of a sudden and start to hate him.
Part of the reason she was acting differently with Mohinder was because he was acting as her doctor. We have no idea how they act together now that she's under their supervision all the time, what with Mohinder off in Egypt.
I think her lashing out at Matt was just due to the fact that she is really quite terrified by the man in her dreams, and in Ep. 23 she told them she didn't like to think about him because he could see her. It's only reasonable that she became very upset with Matt when he prodded her about the drawings of the eyes. If you knew something terrible would happen to you if you thought about someone specific, and someone else was pressuring you to talk, would you just take it lightly?

I think Molly´s character will surprise us all at some point during season two ..., that rude reaction she had..., it just made me think that something evil is getting inside her through her dreams or maybe that she´ll turn evil herself or has always been ..., it wouldn´t be the first time the shows makes us think someone is evil and the turns out to be good or the other way around as it happened wiht Claire´s father and the hatian guy ...
