I saw a thread asking what powers people thought were the best.

Now, who do you think has the worst power?

Off the top of my head, I would probably say the guy that could turn things to liquid. Only really seemed pointlessly destructive. Sylar only really took it in order to trick Mohinder. Then again, he may have taken it anyway...

Probly would have to agree with u there. the one with the hearing ability is cool, but if u cant defend urself than its useless, but perfect for Sylar!

the power to get in dreams it just sucks

I would agree that Zane Taylor's power of liquification is somewhat lame, although if some one was to throw any type of metal object at me, whether it be a knife or something else, liquification might not be a bad power to have, granted that was the only power i had. if i had telekinesis, then it wouldn't matter

I dunno. It depends on what you mean by worst. Maya's power look like it suck, but Sylar's original ability is almost kind of pointless. What he did with it however...

I think it also depends on what a person does with it too...

Although it seemed that Sanjog was not only able to get into dreams but to manipulate them somehow, which might not be a bad power to have if you wanted to make someone see something horrific or something.

And I forgot about Sylar's original power. If you ignore what he did with it, it is probably the worst in the end. That is what annoyed him so much after all.

I think the ability of the little indian boy to get in others dreams or to be a "spirit guide" as he said is, in a personal meaning, one of the worst.

The hearing ability of the mechanic could be annoying too.

I would have classed that as an annoyance, hearing a spider walking across your wall or something

Id say Molly.. it just lacks the awesomeness factor

I'd say all you have to do is give Molly a gun or even a knife. She most likely knows where you are sleeping and you wouldn't know where she was.

That is an excellent thought. Molly could sneak up from behind you and your history. It is hard to find a "worst" power because i think they all have potential of being useful, but if i had to say Ted's power at the beginning is the worst. I mean i would hate to have that power and kill my wife because of radiation.

And Dale's power of hearing would be very useful in finding the very small audible quarks in your car but annoying when it came to hearing bugs crawl over your Floor.

Precisely. Remember, for quite some time, Sylar was nothing more than Gabriel Gray, a young man who could tell when a time piece was broken. He took that ability and became a force to be reckoned with.

in my opinion there is no worst ability, alas the person who has it maximize her/his abiltiy. for instances, for the first time i really hate peter who has great ability but he can maximize it. it's kind of lamer, different with sylar even he's ability not that special but he can maximize it

Yeah the hearing one would be a bit rubbish unless you could combine it with other powers like Sylar could. By itself it would be a bit useless

i think the liqiud thing could be quite cool, governmant building not any more.

personally regen is olny good if your going to get into fights so claire having it isnt cool unless she starts crashing cars again

I think the hearing power that Syler stole of that mechanic lady is the worst, it gives you headaches which i hate

I'd have to agree that Ted's power is really rubbish and could only really be used for destruction or for selfish needs so that's gotta be the worst one.

Niki's super strength isn't crap, but a whole series of multiple personality syndrome because of her power was kinda crap.

It wasn't really because of her power. We still don't really understand why it was though.

Hey there's also Charlie's power, which was photographic memory, and that actually exists, usually autistic people have it.
Of course they say knowledge is power, and if you can't forget anything then you would definitely have a really cool "power".
But it's not that impressive and it doesn't have much utility, plus it doesn't defend you or harm your enemies.

She is slowly getting there, I think this could be a really useful power when she manages to sort it out though!

Honestly, if there were no other heroes in the world, Peter's would be the lousiest because it is entirely dependent on other people having powers. If Peter and Charlie were the only two people with powers in existence, for example, Peter would be nothing but just another guy with photographic memory (though this is impressive in itself).

In the Heroes world, however, I would have to go with Molly. Sure, she can find people, if she's got a map available, but what can she do after actually finding them?

i think the power to read people's mind sucks.I mean its useful.. but u begin to udnerstand how poeple thinks of you and sometimes it betters not to know............

Liquefaction would actually be pretty awesome.

It depends on the extent of the power though. If its a fast-acting power after you've trained yourself a bit, then nothing could hurt you as you'd liquefy it on contact.

If it works on people, it would be extremely easy to kill who you want to without ever leaving a trace. It would make for an awesome assassin's skill, which Sylar could use. Steal the brain, melt the body and clothes; no way to track the deaths until they're reported.

i'd have to choose the hearing power as most of you have already said. i mean, the lady that had the hearing powers before had to listen to rap music ='(

Gotta agree with this. The superior hearing is just plain useless when you could use telepathy to hear one's thoughts. Superior hearing is just a detriment, as evidenced by Sylar's suscepibility to loud, unexpected noises.

Sylar because he have to kill people to have powers...

The liquid power isn't brilliant but the ones that can't be controlled like mayas and teds would be the worst
