Mama Patrelli and Hiro's dad seem a bit reluctant to share their powers with everyone. Also Peter and Nathan's dad was supposed to have one as well. Anyone care to take a guess as to what their powers are?
I heard somewhere about Angela Patrelli having the power to see glimpses into the future, like Issac's power but without the paint. As for the others, i have no idea!

I remember Angela Petrelli saying something like "you are just like me" when she first met Claire during season one ... I figured she meant her power was tissue regeneration like Claire´s.

Nah, I don't think specific powers are hereditary, I think he meant that the family had been experiencing various powers for generations.

I think the Petrelli dad's power was something destructive (fire or something), which would contrast with Linderman's power and match up to their time in the war.

The generation before the one that the show focuses on. Hiro's father, nathen's mother... etc.

You might be right, although when Claire asks her about her powers in .07% Angela seems to avoid it. So we are not sure if she was being that forthcoming with her similarities to Claire in the area of her powers. But It seems we are led to think by the different scenes within the course of the show that she and the other 11 have or had powers.

Perhaps she has the ability to detect powers since she knew that her boys had their powers before they did.



Another question would be if the parents have powers, and they are part of this infamous dozen, Did Charles have a power? And if so why not Simone? Perhaps powers are not necessarily hereditary,

Whay is it such a gaurded secret what their powers are anyway?

I knew that one of them had to have the power to see in the future. How else would they know about the whole explosion? How would they know that the future would be so good after the explosion? Was the future that she saw different from the one that Hiro and Ando saw?

i wanna know what there powers were to, but i am also deciding up if they even had powers!, if they did i really would like to know.

Well, with tonight's episode, we got a glimpse of just how strong-willed Angela Petrelli is. ;-)

Angela is one of my favorite characters, and I find myself watching and rewatching the show just to catch anything I might have missed about her. I hope that we get glimpses into her past and it explains why she is acting the way she is lately.

But in "Four Months Later" Kaito stated that he needed a sword if he was going to fight. Does this mean his powers may include using a sword? Or was that just a way to get Ando away?

Well, of the older generation, Linderman and Claude weren't hesitant to show their powers, which, to my way of thinking, means that Angela's powers are going to be something really cool that the writers want us to wait for.

And as far as seeing Hiro's dad's powers, I guess that will only come through flashbacks now.

Angela has always striked me as a powerful, willful woman so yes, I am guessing she is very powerful.

yeah even i remember seeing in one of the promos where Angela tells Matt to get out of her head when he tries to read her mind.

well i agree that mama petrelli's power must those of far sight cause how else can one describe peter being able to see nathan's accident when it happened he must've absorbed this ability from his mama. I thikn that must be the reason why she n linderman came up with the plan,cause i think the plan must've been forged way before issac came into the picture with his pictures .... just some food for money

Angela has the power of teleportation, since in the final episode of season one when Claire was running she suddenly appeared and in the first epiosde of season 2 she also just suddenly appeared in the roof where katio was?

i doubt that. i remember in the first season that angela tells her that she can still die. and i htink sylar might still be able to kill her for example.

I reckon that Mama Petrelli has the ability to give a glimpse of the future via dreams . eg. Peter in the earlier parts of season 1 when he dreamt of flying.

The dreaming power peter had was from Charles Deveaux.
The precog might have been from his father.
Otherwise Angela would already know who will attack her and also warn kaito from the things that was about to happen to him.

Well..if you think about it...any genetic mutation isn't exclusive to our day and age. I am curious as to how many generations it actually dates back to.

I don't think that the Petrelli dad would have any powers, since in the comics they made it out like he didn't have any.

what i'm really interested is how that generation gained insane amounts of wealth and power through their powers. especially linderman...

the precog was absorbed from isaac during peters time playing nurse for simone's father. the plan for nathan as president, and peter as bomb was contrived before peter and nathan knew of their powers. the older generation didn't need to foresee the bomb, it was their idea.

the interaction with charles deveaux wasn't a dream, but peter using Hiro's chronokinesis

i hope and dont thing that all powers are the same as their parents i mean look at clairs real parents flight + pyrotekenisis = regeneration lol but i will expect 1 or 2 to be the same as their parents

The precog painting (and sketching) was from Isaac, yes... but I think the dreaming thing he got from Charles. His dream where he saw his brother's accident was six months before he met Isaac, and I think right after meeting Charles. That's also the source of the visions Peter has when in TX (seeing Sylar, who tells him he doesn't know what true power is).

If he had the dream BEFORE meeting Charles, perhaps it was from one of his parents.

Regarding Simone, the narrating as she's in bed with Peter was saying something about changes or abilities lying dormant. Perhaps she was skipped genetically, perhaps she eventually would show a power.

Could be, but more likely that Peter absorbed that power from Charles Deveaux. I think Mama P is either a speedster--like the Flash, or a teleporter.
