how did he loose his memory on the first place. is it because of the explosion? most likely, but I doubt it somehow.

Wasnt peter supposed to use his power by remembering people if he has lost his memory then how is it that he is able to use his power.

Now I don't understand were everyone is going with this topic. The use of a new power was a plot device trigered at the newer characters. It would not be uncommon for one of the mobsters or even the mobsters sister to be one with a new power. It's clear that she knows of the abilities, but has not alluded to what extremity they exist. Another thing to note is that the Haitian no longer has his necklace which was found around peters neck. Perhaps the haitian got word from peters mom (of whom he holds allegiance) to wipe his memory or hide him away. That is still unclear but anything to keep him from the company. What also seems to be an option is that it was done so he would not remember Sylar, because if that is done he might remember how to explode and be in the same boat as last season.

Peter's powers are still the same as before I think. Not much changed. If it werent for his powers he probably would not have healed in the first place.

well 4 months have passed, so he must've met quite a few new people with special powers as well.

This may or may not be a new power. Maybe its just a manifestation of his Telekinesis. (marvel girl has this pink aura when she uses her TK.) Again, it's just a maybe. It could also be lightning.

4 months have passed so theres like 90% probability Peter met new people with abilities which he absorbed.
Even though Peter stated he had to remember how he felt when he met those particular people with abilities it does not mean an empath should know how he felt around others with abilties as it has been showed in this episode.
So what can we conclude from this episode?
- Peter can just summon his powers (even before his amnesia) even if it was caused by his subconscious.
- Peter met new people with (new?) abilities

There may be more but this is what I could tell at first glance.

And Takezo Kensei has a somewhat similar power like Claire's but different though (maybe this is what can make him immortal).

remember in season one when ted did the emp shock to turn out the lights at the paper factory when they were trying to escape? that's what it looked like to me that peter did...it's probably that in my opinion and not a new power.

Looks like the same ability DL has when he escaped from the rope, the he had electricity power, must be from a new hero. Isnt the guy in the graphic novel have some sort of electricity power might be from him if they will introduce him.

If you remember when Matt was helping Ted and HRG escape from Primatech, HRG told Ted through matt that if he concentrated he could make it to where his power didnt burn hot. It was like a flash of electricity. Peter very well could have learned how to do this during his "training". I am calling this training because Peter didnt know how to control his abilities. Somehow, he was taken to be trained to use his abilities but was cut lose and had his memory taken because he absorbs all abilities and posed to be a threat to whomever had him. Or the pub scene could be the training that he is going through.
