Did anybody else happen to notice how many commercials there were in tonite's episode? I know that episode 1 was brought with "limited interuptions by Nissan" but it's like they took all of the missed commercial time from episode 1 and just tacked it on tonite. I recorded it on my DVR and watched it when I got home and I swear there would be 5-6 minutes of show and then I was fast forwarding through like 4-5 minutes of commercials. I hope the rest of the season isn't going to be this way. Did anybody else feel like there were an insane amount of commercials in tonite's episode? Discuss.

Commercials are not really an issue if you have TIVO!

DVR=TIVO. My problem with the episode was that instead of getting like 40-45 minutes of content I only got to watch about 30-35 minutes.

It will just keep increasing, especially once October sweeps start.

i hate adverts they ruin the flow of tv and movies -they should be illegal

The joys of watching something online....(other than the fact of having to wait 2 to 3 months for it actually to show in local channels)

I'm not complaining about having to watch the commercials. Since I record it and watch it later I just fast forward through the ads. What bothers me is that it's cutting into the amount of time that is dedicated for the show. Tonite's episode only had about 35 minutes of content. That's a ripoff IMO.

I hate Commercials!! Specially when you get so into the show and all of a sudden you have some commercial pop up

That is why we download episodes here..
To skip those commercials

I didn't notice significant commercials until the second 30min. The first 30min seemed to go on and on (in a good way ) Then the last 30min was like "10:00 already?!? Noooo!!"

Well the show lives partially through the commercials and so do many TV Broadcasting Stations. :/
So if we like it or not, commercials are a must so you don't have to pay for these programs like in a pay tv.

Ads are annoying...

Yeah I don't like em either but its a nice small break to check my phone, get something to drink, or I don't know whatever. I know its too late already but I wished we'd get at least one 2 hour premier or 2 hour season finale...

Seriously? 35 minutes of content? WTF?

The episodes for season 1 were clocking in at 45 minutes per episode at an average. So does this mean we'd get slower pacing for the current season due to commercials?

i think there was like 5 comercial brakes, that doesnt let anyone enjoy a program at 100%, thats why i prefer downloading the show

The episode is 42 mins 25 secs....and as i download all the episodes,no ads for me!

yeah far too many commercials, but thats just cos its such a popular show!

commercials give them earnings, which keeps them from making this show. that fact makes me live to see the commercials

yeah most shows though have 4-5 commercial breaks...but i love the breaks, only cause i need a break in between haha to get some water, etc. but i love it cause they always end great scenes right before a commercial so it makes it even better.

Yeah the episode had the normal amount of commercial breaks. Heroes always has 5 breaks of commercials which overall will span nearly 19 minutes. Every show has the same time amount for commericals but some have their breaks styled differently
