Full Version: cheap writing
Great non-ending to season1 - all the dead characters are back. Peter Petrelli should be nothing more than dust - like a solar flare. Skylar - couldn't they come up with a new story line? And lazy writing to get ride of 2 wives.
Did you become a member just to make this post? And I'm not sure what you meant by the last part of it when you mention "2 wives". I'm assuming one of them being Matt's wife, but who is the other?

I was more disappointed in the effects in tonights episode lol

I thought the flying was pretty bad, worse than flying effects in other episodes (I was even laughing at it at one point but that was more for the corniness lol). Other than that I thought it was a good episode.
The flying scene did look pretty bad effects wise. Maui looked like an illusion 
Maui did looked good to me, but the Flying and the scene of Kensei and the fight... That was really lame effects...
I know but what can you do with a limited budget? I can tell they were really trying and the story is moving along nicely. I think the best 'surprises' are still in store for us. I for one am totally excited!

But I agree, it isn't bad for a TV show budget (even though it's an international HIT and there's probably going to be a movie coming out in 2 years about it). After all, I have seen much... much worse. But come on people, it's hard to make a human flying scene NOT look cheesy. The only time I thought it looked cool was when Noah and the Haitian had Nathan cornered against a fence in Las Vegas.
I think the OP is referring to Matt's wife, and Nathan's wife.

How expensive is it these days to make a scene like that somewhat presentable...I mean, a basic photoshop seems like it would be better
And i totally forgot about the fight scene Lol. That was fairly bad as well.it seems the heroes budget should be high.....as high as an other show on tv, if not higher. One of the only dramas on tv that gets a huge fan response
I don't think that the major problem is the budget when it comes to action scenes.
The major problem is Tim Kring. He isn't a friend of "Action" and so he keeps the action as low as possible in the whole series.
As about the original poster: He seems to me as if english isn't his main language(like me).
So please if you don't understand what he wrote at least try to or ask instead of "laughing" about him(not nice).
With two "2 wives dead", I think he means that two female characters got already killed or similar.
I guess that he means Candice on this episode but can't remember any other female character getting killed so far.

However, I'm very thankful that travis makes it possible for me and the others that have no chance to watch the show online or anywhere else to be able to watch it through the downloads anyway.

Yea same goes for me (from Holland
)But Heroes got aired during the summer here in Holland but they're now at episode 16 or something but it took them at least 1 year ~ to finally show it on TV here in Holland....
So like you Raekon I too watch it by downloading the episodes
And with the topic maker meaning with dead wives I think he means Janice / Nathans wife who can walk again or maybe that FBI agent Matt worked with during season 1 most of the times
Pretty sure we knew all these characters were coming back anyway...
