It's a bit late to comment on season 1 episodes, but...
Why the hell would Bennett send the Haitian away with his family if he's in the middle of being threatened by someone with powers?
If you have a friend who neutralizes superpowers, and your family (and yourself) are actively being threatened by someone with powers, wouldn't it be smarter to keep the guy around and defuse the threat?
I'm all about suspending disbelief for people using superpowers. It's imaginative and fun. But having so many character exhibit zero common sense really ruins it. Like the crooks in Season 2 who find Peter chained in a crate, and immediately assume he's responsible for stealing the goods they wanted to steal - because apparently thieves enjoy chaining themselves to the inside of crates after stealing things out of them?
