Something I don't get about this girl.

Seems like if you slice off her toes she'll grow it back, and the show suggests if you spliced off her arm it'll grow back, but what if you spliced her up into little chunks? Or blast her with a nuclear bomb?

Can she grow back from a single cell like "Cell" from Dragon Ball Z?

If she could, she would totally own wolverine's ass =)

I believe in an interview with some writers of the Heroes cast the interviewer asked a question about this.
The interviewer said :
If Claire's body was cut of from her head, will her body grow back another head or will her head grow back another body?
Answer from the writer: The latter one, it's all in the brain baby

Mmmm but didn't Claire say she went through a woodchipper in the 1st season just to see if she could? Those woodchippers dice brain pretty good.

How would she own wolverine? I guess she could tire him to death due to all that chopping her into little chunks but I fail to see exactly how she would defeat him as she has no offensive capabilities.

The head could be damaged but did it cut of her brains? We dont know that for sure as there are some holes in their statements.
The brains need to be active and not damaged in order to use its ability.
Like when Ted got shot and Claire had to use the stunning needle or something her head was burned pretty bad but her brains remained active and undamaged

well when the quaterback got that piece of wood stuck in her head, she couldnt heal herself unless it was taken out. So im guessing it has to do with that.

Like I just mentioned but 82Degrees does have a valid point there..
She did mentioned she went into a woodchipper and survived. So her brains must have either be undamaged or she can regenerate if the part of her brain controlling her ability is undamaged.

I mean in terms of regeneration ability. Although if someone grafted an adamantium skeleton with claws on her and taught her how to do martial arts, she would own him in real life too



I donno if you ever seen a woodchipper but they got these huge industrial blades inside that can chop up logs into mulch, there's no way someone could of gone through one end and came out the other without been diced into little pieces. That's why I came up with my cell regeneration theory. Plus I think it was mentioned in season 1 that Peter survived the nuclear explosion because of Claire's ability. If the brain has to undamaged for her ability to work, and not cell regeneration from bits of cells here and there, there's no way he could of survived.

As for the wood thing, maybe the only way to stop Claire is to stab her in the brain with a piece of wood? You know like stabbing a vampire through the heart with a stake

The part of the brains that control the abilities has to be undamaged for the ability to work.
You remember the virus that infected Molly? It affected her brains somehow and also the part that is controlling her abilities. Because of this she wasnt able to use her abilities.
Both Peter and Claire got stabbed.. at the same part ~ of their head (glass/wooden stick).
And as I said before, the writers did stated although indirectly by words, that when Claire's head got cut off from her body, her head would grow a new body instead of her body growing a new head.
And I know what a woodchipper is, but if Claire said she threw herself into a woodchipper then clearly her brains was undamaged (I know how sharp those things are and can cut almost through anything..)

But that's the thing, I'm saying if she really did go through the chipper then there's no way her brain would be undamaged. Same thing with Peter.

Writers say that if the brains are missing the ability wont work.

Going into a woodchipper + brains must not be damaged = survival.

Its a hole in their statements but you know what they still mean.
As long as their brains dont get damaged Claire/Kensei will survive about anything there is...

And I know you cant just survive a woodchipper because you'll be sliced into 10000000 pieces.

Yeah ok guess I know what you're saying. Heroes writers should make up something to fix up plot holes like these so the story doesn't fall apart when u put more thought into it.

I don't remember Claire saying she went through a woodchipper. Which ep was that? Did she meant that litteraly?
I gotta check that episode again because I don't recall that statement at all.
If so, that's one more hole in the story...

I dont remember the exact episode but I think its the 1st or 2nd episode in where Claire talks with Zach and says things like she stabbed herself etc and didnt die. Where Zach says: whats that sticking out of your body (Claire looking and sees a rib sticking out and pushes it back into her body).
So its very early in the first season.
