Hiro as a little bear was so random.

That novel was the best novel ive seen from Heroes

So funny when Kensei wanted to grab the scroll then big (papa/mama?) bear comes up

That was uber-cool, some comedy in the novels - who'd have thought >D Hiro was misrepresented as Kensei's 'pet' sidekick because it is a legend after all...things get confuddled up along the way.

Chuffa chuffa...just imagining the real Hiro saying that sounds like highly engrossing television to me.

The artwork of this GN is awesome!
As for the story...I guess that's some filler until we see Hiro again.

i realy didnt like it.....

well let me explain. i saw the link that showed the picture of hiro and kensei on the got-heroes main page and found out it refered to a graphic novel.
now i had never read a graphinc novel, and being rather naive, i thought it was all one big story. so yesterday, i read all 55 in one sitting. as you can imagine, i quickly realized they were all short snippets of background info, and that i could of read the 'baby hiro' one straight away.
anyway my point is, that after reading all of them, i found this one a bit poinless, and i agree with you DOKTOR,
hero - way cute, story - pure filler.

I see no point to this novel whatsoever. its cute but they are supposed to give us backstory and what not. I like the novels but that didnt give me anything at all!!!!

Hiro as a bear just freaked me out; I get that its supposed to be folklore and been distaughted as the tale is passed on but its just weird!

I really didn't like this one. I like the ones that give more backstory...and this one seemed to just solidify what we knew about the relationship between them.

I'm feeling the same way, in that I don't think this novel really did anything to further the story or gave us any kind of extra tidbit of information.

We already knew that Hiro was the catalyst behind making Kensei what he turns out to be. This is just fluff for all those Hiro fanbois who can't get enough. =P

hiro is not a bear kane is not jap either physical or morally(ok mya hiro). why show kane like this
