I think we should make predictions, about how each of the current Heroes powers will evolve, and what we might see in the future,

Hiro

"Time bubble"
The ability to accelerate time in a certain radius

"Selective Chronokinesis"
Being able to stop, time while keeping others from being effected.

These are some I saw in another thread, If other people have suggestions Ill edit this post.


Some of DickieDick's Ideas/theories
Claire: She will heal a lot faster and becomes more hardened to pain (for example so that she can run up to a guy to kick his a** while the guy keeps pumping bullits in her... but she just shrugs it off and runs full speed).

Peter: First he will learn how to activate his different powers (again), then use the evolved versions of them and combine powers so that he can use them at the same time (for example stopping time... then coating the road with ice and then unstopping time so that a car slips on the road without noticing anything...)

Micah: I think he will learn to use devices faster (now he has to concentrate for a few sec), he will learn to use it without touching it, he will learn to control devices at a distance and maybe even see through their 'eyes' (for example those robots for kids, security systems etc.)

Hiro: Selectively freezing time (so choosing without touching whom to freeze with time or whom to not freeze), maybe even later slowly rewinding time while standing outside of it ready to stop it and intervene.... (probably a bit too powerfull though tongue.gif)

Matt: the nightmare thing ofc.

Nathan: instead of just flight at a superspeed also movement at a superspeed.

Monica: after watching a lot of tv 'learning' a lot of different skills. Then mimicry of muscles at the same time someone is doing it.... (for example watching a conversation with binoculairs and mimicing the mouth muscles to reproduce the same things the person said). Using different things together (for example the kick she saw was from the side... using the same kick with a salto instead of a sideway salto/swing).

Molly: like someone said, not just detecting ppl but also watching/hearing from a distance..

Bob: changing metal things in other non-organic material and later maybe organic material??

Haitian: making new memories and implenting them in erased areas...

We still dont know what Monicas powers are capable of..

i mean, she can repeat whatever she sees...but does she remember it forever, or is it a one off thing?
Once she repeats what she has seen, can she do it again a month later?

I've always wondered if the ability to heal others (a la L.) is an advancement of Claire's tissue regeneration. (And if flying, self-propulsion, is a subset of Telekinesis).

We know that Hiro will be able to stop time for selected people, because that's what he does with Peter on the train, no?

I believe the reason time stop for peter on the train was because he was absorbing Hiro's ability and was not affected. And Future hero knew that.
But it could be that what you're saying also. Now the scene on the train doesn't make sense anymore.

just remembered in Fight or Flight, that Monica ended up making about 10 of them Tomato Flowers at home in the kitchen, before covering them up when Micah entered the room

Well we know that powers evolve because Matts dad can do the nightmare thing..and he said oh it jsut starts there or something.
Hiro can stop time for some people but he has to touch them..

and monicas powers are interesting..i cant wait to see what she does with them.

Interesting. If the powers evolve and become more powerful, someone who absorbs multiple powers (Peter) or obtains others powers (Sylar) would eitehr evolve into a God, or completely go insane. Imagine unlimited power with Kenseis imortality.

Thinking that out a step furhter could create an interesting plot twist: perhaps Kensei is from our time -- or the time of the first 12 -- and agrees to hide in the past to keep Peter and/or Sylar from obtaining his power.

Nice thinking But if Kensei is immortal, meaning even if his brains gets damaged like what Sylar would normally do etc...
Then whats the point for Kensei/Adam to go hiding?
Surely he wouldnt die then...
So thats off the hook, with being Peter; he can absorb anyones power as we now know it. His only advancement would be that he can extend his absorbed powers like the people he absorbed it from (like Matt etc..).
Think it about this way. Hiro couldnt bring a person to the future. Now he can with Caitlin probably. So this would mean that he could literally become a God and eventually has to get killed of by the writers sadly.

Molly being able to monitor a person 24/7 like a CCTV,
so from tracking where they are in the world she can see whatever they are doing

The powers he absorbs can evolve.

it will take an awful lot of time to evolve all those powers he has,
it takes like a lifetime for a hero with one ability to evolve their powers, it will take ages for peter unless he is immortal and has hundreds of years to evolve all his powers

Maybe... We don't know that for sure.
If Peter can go to the future with Caitlin, then it means he will evolve his powers the same as the others at equal rate. Meaning that if a person like Matt can do stuff he couldnt do before like telepathy Peter can learn it as fast as Matt or maybe even faster.
So its not about 1 ability at a time, I think its more like all abilities at the same time.
Thats my thought about it. Maybe im totally wrong...

but now Peter has amnesia so Adam Monroe/Kensei manipulates him into thinking that Adam is a good person rather then pure evil.
Peter is just good not evil, his intentions are good but he doesnt know the truth about Adam's plans. This makes Peter look evil.

I suppose most of the powers are a branch of telekinesis (best power ever)
Telekinesis gives basically all powers....
-> Thermo kinetics: So both Ice/Fire
-> Movement of electrons: Lightning/Alchemy/Metal Armor
-> Flying/ Hovering
-> Movement of things: Magnetism, Sand Manipulation, Seismic Waves, Controlling water
-> Invincibility... if you can stop things that will kill you.
-> Who cares about going through things when you can tear it apart
-> Muscle memory... you would be able to tell your body to do a backflip or something right?
-> Superspeed/ Time manipulation doesn't matter if you can freeze everything in a radius right?

hah, trust syler to get this power, and being his first aquired power aswell
this power helped him out alot

Yeah, I'm glad he doesn't have it anymore, now he can be a bit more creative with his kills =/.

Now Sylar has to be more manipulative to kill his victims which makes it very interesting to watch
