I've come straight from season 1 into season 2, and so far I'm not that gripped by certain characters storylines... namely Hiros. Peters isn't great either. But I can't wait till Hiro gets back to the here and now, his dad's dead he needs to know/kick some a** upon his return... scale of 1-10 I have to give the storyline (currently) a number 2... does anyone like it? Is it just me? Can anyone enlighten me as to the point?

If the info from Insider is correct, then trust me his storyline is going to rock the season along with Peter

Now, im beggining to hate hiro storyline. from 1 to 10. i'd rate it as 5 or 6.
But i know his time with kensei is nt jus going to be smth that is only in the past. Its gonna make a hell lot of interesting things in the future and i dont just mean ancient scroolls.....
i have a hunch how it is gonna affect peter.

Right now, I'll rate Hiro's storyline 5 out of 10 but if it wasn't for Kensei, it'd be somewhere btween 0 and 1.
I also agree that Peter's storyline isn't that great either and I blame that on Caitlin.

100% positive it was done on purpose by Tim kring...
Because making it seem unimportant in the beginning and more important in the later episodes of the season so it wont be like in the beginning exiting and best episodes etc and then sunk in ratings...
It's better to get the people into it slowly rather then jumping on it

I'm sure it's gonna get better, but I'd give the storyline a 4 right now.
It's getting a little pedantic with the whole 'I think I'm in love with the most beautiful women in Japan' thingy...

I wish Hiro would just come back to the present, kick some bad guy's butt, reunite with Ando, and then find out, all of a sudden, that the waitress in season 1 that has eidetic memory (Charlie Andrews, I think...) is still alive ( ), settle down with her, and have time-controlling Hiro Juniors that can also remember everything.

I would watch that. Wouldn't you?

Hiro in general annoys me, I don't find his storylines that interesting at all except for when they give us a glimpse into the future, and even then it is my interest in the other characters and not Hiro that makes me like those moments. The whole "Hiro and his Hero" thing is not that interesting and is quite predictable in parts and I don't really like it at all. I do like that it introduced us to Kensei though, because he is kinda cool.

I don't watch this show for Hiro and his storylines, so I tend to just forget what happens in his scenes this season.

I'll give it a 4, and im being generous. His storyline is dragging so much, its just not the same without Ando

I'm sure that Hiro's influence on Kensei will play out later in the show... I have my own hunches on just where Kensei fits into the picture since I believe he was the one to first originate with the whole symbol (on his sword and banner) and with it still being used in the future... perhaps Kensei is the one murdering others? hmm?

I've found this volume just as gripping as lasts, probably more actually. So much mystery. I just hope it doesn't turn out the same as Lost.

You must understand that hiro is cheking is roots, kensei has the symbol of every mutant/hero, so Hiro will find out how the company started. And you must see as well hiro's script is kind like a japanese story, it must have background to be correct!

Yeah, the Hiro/Kensei storyline has been terrible so far. They really have over extended themselves with this one. They've taken a great character and made him boring..no riduclous. The whole feudal Japan storyline is a poorly presented and developed angle, yet it looked so promising back in May.

Hiro did need to get out of his comfort zone, but this was not the way to add layers to his character.

I hope that once they come back he will become insteresting once again.

Hiro is being extremely reserved in this season so far, not to mention overly sensitive. Definitely boring, and needs to move on!

i agree that the storyline has been a bit slow so far but (if the spoilers ive read are correct) then its all needed so that the end of the season (which sounds amazingly good) makes sense. you have to look at the big picture....which i know is kinda hard seeing as we're only up to ep. 6

Is that Claire in you picture mitch with her chest cut open...I remember that from the last season except the cartoon is a bit more gross it seems LOL

You do realize of course, that what you have the makings of here, is Time Police, right? A cadre of specials who can recall everything and manipulate time would have little other significant purpose, and especially if they were reared by Hiro and imbued with his sense of morality, duty, and right vs. wrong, etc., et. al.

Yeah, I might watch it, if they had sufficiently capable villains to overcome.

Of course, they might also somehow manage to fall awry of Hiro's sensibilities and wind up like that ship from the ST:V couple of episodes, that had the time altering ray and kept trying to adjust the present to restore the past...they were way wrong, and had it all backwards, though. Everyone knows you can only adjust the present by altering the past...they were idiots. hehe

The character didn't die of cancer though, she was Sylar'd. Looked almost like a #10 can of chocolate syrup was leaking across the kitchen floor, but it was really her noggin

no the character, when hiro went into the past to try and save her from being syler'd, he found out she was going to die anyway because she had cancer or sumin like that

Actually I like Hiro, but the whole story in Japan is rather dull. It doesn't appeal to me in any way.

That's the problem with screenwriters. If they don't have any ideas, then they simply send someone to the future or to the past. That's the way you can cover up a lack of a good story.
