Full Version: Maury DOES help Matt

Hi guys,

I want to ask you something..

In my first opinion, I thought Maury tries to escape from his son, by using one of his powers (the superversion of mindreading ^^), wich he is capable of. Matt and Nathan both think he tricked them, and he can't be trust (as Matt says)..

But clearly (to me), Maury DOES Matt a favor. Ok, he tricks him, but Matt had to (learned?) to go into Nathans head to stop him.. So Matt learns a new thing.. Maybe later on (2.06 / 2.07, who will tell) Matt sees what his dad did, and will try the same..

Ofcourse they fought eatchother, but I guess Matt will learn from it, and will be capable to do the same thing with others..

What is your opinion ? Am I missing a/the point ?

(I'm new, so please be gentle tongue.gif)

ARE YOU ******* KIDDING ME ?!?!?! tongue.gif

Just kidding haha smile.gif

That is possible but very unlikely that maury will help Matt...
He only thinks about himself and not others ...
But as I said... ANYTHING is possible atm smile.gif

Matt did learn the power...........i think.....but he was in nathans head.
However if maury wanted to teach matt that power, it could have been easier....without running away and carrying a shotgun.

only thing could be maury feels safer on his own instead of getting help
bignas1234
i doubt this is true, maury is a selfish person who robbed people's money in the past, ditched his son and wife to be alone
i reckon he did the nightmare thing just to make time so he can have a get away
ClusCo
He gave Matt n Nathans nightmare so that he can escape from that apartment but its beginning for Matt to learn something new from ability that he got.

Maury did help Matt, but crucially he didn't 'intend' to help him, if you know what I mean. It's just one of those things and as they say, what doesn't kill you, makes you stronger. Now Matt will *hopefully* be stronger (and wiser) as a result of this experience.

That's exactly what I mean. Now Matt saw what his dad (with the same powers) is capable of, he can try to do the same. I really hope Matt will shortly learn how to set up 'nightmares' for the good !

You do know it took Maury at least 10 years minimum to be at the level where he is now..
Matt knows how long his ability, 6 months?
It's still a very long way for him to achieve this smile.gif
amplification.
I guess he did help him unintentionally, I guess he's going to regret that.

Yes, I agree..I think Matt will be able to use this to his advantage in the long run.

What you say is valid, however we should perhaps bear in mind that at this point in time evolution is rapidly increasing in the 'Heroes Universe', if you will. Therefore Matt, just like the rest of his 'generation' are experiencing their powers at a quicker rate than previous generations..

Of course it will take Matt a while to evolve his ability, but I think it will be quicker than Maury's was at his age (assuming Matt's powers 'can' evolve', of course)

This is good insight.

Maybe Matt will be able to go into Molly's dream and save her.

Let's hope so ^^

SHHHH!!!! angry.gif

It's Noah BUTLER.

Gawwwd, giving the game away there Shanniee laugh.gif
mitchyboi
matt, in my opinion has the same ability as maury but it would take him years to get to the level maury is at so i doubt we will see much more from matt this season apart from mind reading.

*also i know its trivial but in "five years gone" matt can still only read minds so his power never developed, probably coz the writters didnt think all the way into chapter 2 when they wrote that ep.

Im sorry JayC rolleyes.gif
I cant help but just help people with questions hehe tongue.gif

and to mitchyboi, yes I think so too that the writers didnt thought of this in the first place.
But it seems Matt has to develop his powers in a matter of days or week(s) :x
