Based on the preview, it seems like Caitlin is gonna die in the future. They showed Peter and Caitlin being scrubbed by the guys in the radio-active suit.

Great way to write off a character, if you ask me.

Wasn't Peter being "scrubbed off" too though? and now that he's seen the future, he could always teleport back and change the future again? If he remembers how to teleport...

I dunno. If he rescues Caitlin and then teleports back to the present/past, it would seem to Hiro/Ando-ish (in season 1) to me. It looks like Caitlin could die from the virus.

If you think about it, the said character is not really that significant anymore except for the vengeance plot against Elle and unraveling the mystery of her tattooing Peter with that changing symbol.

Actually those are only assumptions and to be honest it would be a bad way and repeatable to say the least?

Season 1:
- Hiro changes the past
- Hiro changes the future

Season 2:
- Hiro changes the past (Surprised? I'm not...)
- Peter changes the future (Oh! That's a real surprise but wait..... same plot other character? Blah!)

Other than that it's not said that her story is over only because her brother died.
She is with peter after all and to be honest he deserves a little love after everything he went through.

Most of all since she is not only very supportive and a good person, because she also gives him more strenght and understanding he ever had in his life before!

As about the comment of her acting? I find her good! She is not worser than others in the show and in my book, this show had until now only good actors and actresses that did a great job no matter if they were regulars, reccuring or just guest stars.

That's what also adds a good quality of the show and SAVES by making up for the plot holes and the weak writing we are exposed sometimes so.... I appreaciate every actor/tress in the show cause they are doing a great job!

I agree with Raekon. Cailtin's not going to bite it, at least not in the near future.

It would just be a simone all over again!! Things would get too wierd, and Peter needs a companion, especially when he finally runs into his family/friends again. period.

Caitlin gets killed off? Good riddance! I was beginning to get irritated with her over-the-top Irish accent. Oh and just a fun fact if you guys didn't know. Hayden Panettiere is Irish in real life but she doesn't sound half as bad as Caitlin. Weird.

This is in the spoilers and speculation section so... I heard some distant rumor (probably wrong too) about 2 specials and 1 normal person dying. Now, nothing against Caitlin honestly, but I'd rather her than... say... Suresh or HRG... >_>

I have to say I agree with Raekon that the main story arc does seem to be almost the same as last years. However, I have faith in the writers and I assume that they have something up their sleeves to make this slightly different from last year.

If not I will be disappointed.

As for Caitlin she does seem like cannon fodder. We all know what happened to Peter's last love interest...

well i must concede that even though the plot of time play is evident in both seasons which seems rather boring, we have to remember that Heroes is probably the only show that can do so in such a cool way.

Time play is unavoidable. Unless you want Peter, Sylar and Hiro to be killed, then perhaps we can say good riddance to all the time playing, prophetic and paradoxical stories.

And well, not really related to topic, I'd like to see Bob kill someone with his power. So far his alchemy that he has shown is pretty little. I want to see more. I want to see something worthy of being of the Twelve. Haha.

I don't really mind her, but they really need to kill off West. Hes just too annoying to watch.

Let's just say that im not her biggest fan. I think she's doing alright on Heroes, but I wouldnt mind if she was killed of But also wouldnt mind if she were to stay on the cast for a while

She is? Her IMDb profile states that she was born in New York, and nowhere did it say she spent any time in either Irelands. If you're talking about her ancestry, accents aren't exactly genetic, are they?

And I've met a few people who actually hail from Ireland, and some of their accents can get quite thick at times. So while I'm no expert in accents, I have to say Caitlin's is fairly acceptable.

I always thought she's from an Italian descendant. *shrugs* Unless her surname doesn't make up much of it. Other than that, she seems like a generic newscast-accented American to me.

Same, when Niki attacked Bob last week, prior to Mohinder's tazer, i wanted to see a shiny nice gold Niki Statue, but ah well - maybe he could use that kind of thing later, as some form of trapping 'bad-guys' e.g. Immortal people and psychos.

To the topic, whilst I didn't mind her, acting as someone Peter could relate to, I'm hoping that she doesn't return unless she has a really cool power (which I don't hope at all).
